His speed and lateral quickness have also steadily improved which means Garner will be on the field a lot this upcoming season for the Stags. [player_tooltip player_id="90655" first="Mitchell" last="Garner"] rounds out DeMatha’s impeccable defense, and when that defense is put in tandem with the Stags’ formidable offense during game time then it’s going to be nearly impossible to beat them this season. [player_tooltip player_id="90655" first="Mitchell" last="Garner"] will no doubt be a huge part of their success as he continues to supplant his D1 status.
<strong>2023 5’10 190 RB [player_tooltip player_id="124384" first="Bryce" last="Cox"] – Mount Saint Joseph </strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="124384" first="Bryce" last="Cox"] is an incredibly intelligent running back with a zero quit attitude. He doesn’t possess blistering speed or quickness, but what he lacks in those departments he more than makes up for with his yards after contact and situational awareness. [player_tooltip player_id="124384" first="Bryce" last="Cox"] will do whatever it takes to get into the end zone and his leadership is infectious. Mount Saint Joseph is set to have a big year this Fall and there’s no question that their star running back, [player_tooltip player_id="124384" first="Bryce" last="Cox"], will be leading the charge for the Gaels.
<strong>2023 6’0 180 DB [player_tooltip player_id="90656" first="Tawfiq" last="Byard"] – DeMatha </strong>
If you’re looking for a quintessential defensive back with unbelievable potential at free safety then look no further than [player_tooltip player_id="90656" first="Tawfiq" last="Byard"]. Byard is incredibly agile and can run backwards as fast as he can run forwards. It’s extremely rare to see him get beaten off of the line of scrimmage for a pass, and he also possesses an incredible eye for scoping out the run. [player_tooltip player_id="90656" first="Tawfiq" last="Byard"] will continue to impress in the secondary this upcoming season and he will certainly add lots of voltage to DeMatha’s already highly electric defense in 2021. He is without question a D1 prospect.

Calvert Hall football is quietly set to make a big run this year and the primary reason for that is their quarterback [player_tooltip player_id="90649" first="Noah" last="Brannock"]. Brannock is incredibly poised in the pocket and he possesses the innate ability of protecting the football. He’s more athletic than most scouts have given him credit for and he will most certainly prove that when he’s scrambling for first down this upcoming season. It’s an undeniable fact that [player_tooltip player_id="90649" first="Noah" last="Brannock"] throws a great ball with a tight spiral, and he has a high football IQ. The future is bright for Calvert Hall and their starting quarterback and now is their time to prove it.
