gave his commitment to MTSU yesterday and it's a decision that could pay off in a big way for the Blue Raiders as this Memphis native has all the tools to become one of the best in school's history to throw the pigskin in Murfreesboro.
Lowe took to Twitter on Monday to announce his decision after a long recruiting process that saw multiple schools from different levels recruit and chase him down like the big time talent he is and is still developing into.
The first things you recognize when watching Lowe on film is his mechanics, arm strength and ball placement. Lowe is a legit passer that can place the ball wherever he wants to and do so on a consistent basis.
Lowe has the arm talent to make NFL style throws and push the ball down the field if and when needed.
He is also an ultimate competitor and someone with the right mentality, leadership qualities that you want behind center.
Lowe has the talents warranted to be recruited by Power Five programs and they did sniff around but the West Tennessee product doesn't have the exact size they like, however MTSU doesn't care at all.
The Blue Raiders see exactly what I see and that's a quarterback that plays bigger than his size, has outstanding arm talent and will always be one of the better athletes on the field at any given time.
Lowe also fits the style of offense that the Blue Raiders work with in Murfreesboro. The Blue Raiders love quarterbacks that can throw from in and out of the pocket while also sporting the athleticism to extend plays.
Looking ahead into the upcoming Fall football season, Lowe is poised to lead his team to the playoffs and will be in consideration from day one as a top contender for Mr. Football honors come season's end.
The addition of Lowe to the MTSU 2022 recruiting class is more than steal, he is the most important commitment for the Blue Raiders. They added a P5, D1 talented passer that could put the CUSA program back on the map and back into bowl contention.
Before choosing MTSU, Lowe was also considering Georgia St., Georgia Southern, Harvard, Louisiana, Miami Ohio, Navy and Southern Miss along with several others showing interest.
