Three favorites have emerged for 2022 Carlsbad (NM) offensive lineman <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="134796" first="Ramon" last="Loya"]</strong> as his recruitment intensifies heading into July.
The 6-foot-4, 280-pound Loya, our No. 4 overall prospect for the 2022 class, told Prep Redzone New Mexico that Eastern New Mexico, Columbia and Texas-Permian Basin are the three schools standing out to him right now.
Loya plans to camp at West Texas A&M (Canyon, TX) in July along with Eastern New Mexico’s camp July 20 at Cleveland High School in Rio Rancho. After that, he wants to start visiting schools in the fall.
Besides his three favorites, Loya has also spoken with coaches from Davidson, Utica College, Colorado School of Mines, Middlebury, Harding and St. Norbert.

Armenta participated in the Top 200 camp in Albuquerque Saturday before flying to Las Vegas.
-- 2022 Farmington QB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="26232" first="Brandon" last="Furbee"]</strong> was also at the UNLV camp.
-- 2022 St. Pius X DB/OLB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="135303" first="Dominic" last="Esparza"]</strong> had a virtual visit with College of Wooster in Ohio.
