Central Ohio Westerville Central Preview

The pandemic shortened season saw the Westerville Central Warhawks post an 8-1 record.  They return loads of talent this season and are poised to make a serious run at the title. <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Westerville Central</strong></span> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91581" first="Michael" last="Ross"]</strong> RB/FS 5’11 180 - Michael is an absolute beast of prospect in the 2022 class.  Big, powerful, and physical runner with good vision and burst in between the tackles.  He runs behind his pads and runs defenders over when needed.  He is very shifty in the open field and can really wiggle.  Catches well out of the backfield with good turn and run.  At FS is always on top of the routes.  Plays with good technique and ball skills. Makes big plays with his athleticism and awareness. HUDL: <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/11273205/Michael-Ross">https://www.hudl.com/profile/11273205/Michael-Ross</a> <strong>Matthew Nguyen</strong> LB 5’11 190 - Matt is a really athletic LB with good speed and quickness.  He is an above average prospect in this class and will be an outstanding player at the college level.  He starts with a good stance at both MLB and OLB.  He reacts to plays well and has good awareness of how fast he needs to move.  Uses his hands with power to take on blocks and sheds blockers easily.  Plays gap sound football routinely and has a good pass rush with relentless nature.
