Alabama Evals: Class 4A Region 1 Top Players

Region 1 in Class 4A is home to Escambia County, Jackson, W.S. Neal, Mobile Christian, St. Michael Catholic, Vigor and Williamson.
This is known as one of the best regions in all of class 4A and the talent on the field is a big reason why.
Here are the top players in Region 1 to watch this season.
<strong>Lajavius Johnson </strong>| 5-7 CB | Escambia County
Johnson is a solid size cornerback with a ton of potential. He can lock down any receiver and rarely gets beat in coverage in deep routes. Johnson can read a play the entire route and steal an interception with his quick speed and great balance on the field. He also excels at playing wide receiver, and has great hands to catch any ball thrown his way.
<strong>Davion Woulard </strong>| 5-7 RB | Jackson
Woulard is an outstanding tailback that has quick speed and an abundance of power when he has the ball. He can plow through defenders to gain extra yards after contact. Down the sideline, he can stutter step defenders and make hurdles to fight for more yards on his way to big gains for his team.
<strong>Miguel Camboia </strong>| 6-0 QB | Mobile Christian
Camboia is a standout quarterback that can do it all for his team. He can throw solid passes all over the field or gain yards outside of the pocket using his running ability. He excels at short passes but his deep range gives him the ability to hit receivers in stride for long yardage plays or a deep route touchdown.
<strong>Alex Alvarez </strong>| 6-2 QB | W.S. Neal
Alvarez is a solid player with good arm strength and a candid rushing ability. He can make accurate throws to any target and can avoid pressure when given the opportunity. Alvarez could pass for 15+ touchdowns this season with his strong arm.
<strong>Braylan Green </strong>| 5-6 WR | St. Michael Catholic
Green is a top target on his team and for good reason. He looks in every catch and can run dominantroutes against defenders. He can get separation at the line of scrimmage and makes acrobatic catches down the sideline.

Agee has great hops and can elevate to make catches. Against smaller defenders, he can get open after the snap and be gone in seconds. He is a great blocker in the run game and can even take handoffs in certain packages and use his quick speed to pick up yards.

Woodyard is a shifty tailback with great vision on the field. He uses his speed to outrun defenders and can bounce off tackles to keep the play alive. In pass catching, Woodyard shows great skill to take any pass and turn it into a positive play.
