An inside look into some of the 2024 prospects rising up the Prep Redzone Rankings. He shows good body control, balance, and mobility for his size/age. He’s good on his feet with a strong and well-balanced base to gain positional leverage and execute different types of blocks. He’s a finisher that is strong and powerful at the POA and drives his legs through contact. Shows he can latch on and sustain his block through the whistle. First offered by Arizona in early June he has the size, skill, and potential to be a double digit D1 offer prospect. [player_tooltip player_id="115533" first="Brandon" last="Phelps"], WR, American Leadership Academy – Gilbert North Versatile two way player with great length and frame at 6’3” 190 lbs. Natural pass catcher that adjusts and tracks the ball well. Good leaping ability help him be a great jump ball threat that attacks the ball at the highest point. Large catch radius, he knows how to use his length to extend and catch balls out his framework. Capable of making plays after the catch using his strength and size to break tackles and get up the field. Good ability to transition out of his backpedal and break on the ball. Picked up his first offer from Arizona in June and is one of the premier athletes in the 2024 class.   [player_tooltip player_id="169400" first="Sa’Kylee" last="Woodard"], OL/DL, Canyon Del Oro At 6’3” 300 lbs. he’s effective on both sides of the ball and picked up his first offer from in-state Arizona in May. Possesses a strong and sturdy frame with good balance. He's a functional athlete that can fire off the ball and showing good initial quickness to get to his spot. Tons of natural strength and power help him get a push and control the LOS on both sides of the ball, gets great movement on his drive blocks. Shows good fundamentals and technique with his footwork and hand usage. A lot of physical tools to build on and will be a highly recruited if he continues trajectory. Voted second-team all-region after a breakout freshman campaign that saw him fill the stat sheet with 56 tackles, four interceptions, and 12 PBU’s. He’s a smooth athlete with great instincts and game awareness. Possesses a quick trigger and great route recognition to break on the ball and put himself in position to be a difference maker. Great one on one tackler that wraps up through contact and is reliable in the open field. Strong family genes, his dad played at Nebraska and brother currently plays at UCLA. He’s one of the top 2024 DB’s in the state and should see his recruiting take off as he progresses.
