An inside look into some of the new 2024 offensive prospects in the Prep Redzone Rankings. [player_tooltip player_id="158340" first="Noah" last="McNair"], WR, Sunnyside McNair was an impressive playmaker as a freshman. He’s a plus athlete and a savvy route runner that can attack a defense at all three depths. Showed he can stretch the field vertically using his top end speed and burst off the LOS to quickly break cushion and slip by coverage. Good ability to track/adjust to the deep ball. Strong after the catch, he’s quick and elusive to make defenders miss in the open field. He’ll be a tough cover over the next several years. [player_tooltip player_id="158370" first="Jayden" last="Reyes"], WR, Eastside Catholic Reyes is a quick and explosive athlete out of the slot. He’s fluid with his movement and flashes plus speed and footwork as a route runner. He’s smooth in/out of his breaks and shows a great ability to accelerate out of his cuts to create separation. Love the way he sells his routes at the top to gain positional leverage and create a throwing lane. Good upside and potential as he develops in the strong Eastside Catholic offense. [player_tooltip player_id="158377" first="Marquise" last="Thorpe-Taylor"], OL, Mount Tahoma A violent finisher with great size/frame at 6’4” 290 lbs. He’s a plus athlete with good mobility, feet, and bend for his size and age. As a run blocker, he comes off the ball hard and gets great push off the LOS. He understands how to use his leverage and does a good job of driving his feet through contact. Moves his feet well and shows good lateral agility in his pass set to mirror defender’s movement. He sustains his blocks and plays through the whistle. Recruiting could blow up for him if he continues on the same trajectory. [player_tooltip player_id="158371" first="Thyrou" last="Umi-Tuato’o"], ATH (RB/LB), Auburn-Riverside A versatile playmaker that can impact the game on both sides of the ball. Showed good natural instincts and game awareness a freshman ball carrier. He sees the field well and hits his line hard with good balance when he sees a crease. He’s a strong all-around back that can run between the tackles, turn the corner to the outside, and catch the ball out of the backfield. Expect him to have a big season as a two-way playmaker this upcoming season. [player_tooltip player_id="158373" first="Cole" last="Muilenburg"], TE, Peninsula Strong two-way player with great length for a TE/DE at 6’4” 215 lbs. He’s a natural athlete with good movement skills and bend, shows he can run and move laterally on both sides of the ball. He’s a physical player that brings strong contact as a blocker and tackler. High effort player with a great motor. It will be interesting to see how his body develops going forward but good foundational skillset to build on. Also good basketball player. [player_tooltip player_id="158378" first="Trevor" last="Steinbach"], OL, Skyline Steinbach is a versatile lineman that can play either side of the ball. Possesses a strong and sturdy frame at 6’4” 280 lbs. He shows good initial quickness with a fast and explosive first step off the ball. Natural strength and power at the POA he’s able to control the LOS with good leverage and pad level. He’s a mauler that brings his hips and feet upon contact. Love his tough, physical, and always attacking style of play. Good skillset and physical tools to build as he develops. [player_tooltip player_id="158381" first="Elisha" last="Ese"], OL, Garfield An impressive interior offensive lineman that was voted second-team all-league as a freshman. At 6’0” 310 lbs. he possesses a powerful and compact frame with a strong center of gravity. High football IQ, he shows good all-around fundamentals and technique to go along with his understanding of blocking schemes and defensive fronts. Strong and efficient use of his hands, he snaps his hands into position and flashes a powerful initial punch. He can deliver strong contact at the POA and also anchor down and absorb an oncoming rush. A lot to like as a potential college recruit. Other top newcomers to watch: [player_tooltip player_id="158343" first="Gunnar" last="Trachte"], QB, Enumclaw [player_tooltip player_id="158372" first="Andre" last="Toliver"], WR, Life Christian [player_tooltip player_id="158380" first="Landen" last="Barger"], OL, Yelm [player_tooltip player_id="158383" first="DJ" last="Duran"], QB, Chiawana
