Offensive Spotlight
Talon Betts, RB, 6’0″ 170lbs, Rochester ’22
Betts had a solid year for Rochester and was a clutch player on offense as he was able to rack up 719 yards on 128 carries while adding another 212 yards on 19 receptions with 11 total TD’s. He’s a versatile player that can fit into numerous offensive schemes at the next level. When lined up at RB, he displays excellent vision and solid balance both between the tackles and on the edges. He’s flashed enough top end speed for big play ability and to take big runs to the house. Betts can line up and make plays from the slot as well. They utilized him in a variety of ways in the slot, and did a good job getting the playmaker the ball in space. He flashed good lateral agility with the ability to make opponents miss in open field. He can bring good physicality to the POC when he wants to as well, but did his best work in space. Betts has also proved to be a dangerous KR as well. He has attended and impressed at numerous camps this summer, which should give him an advantage in his recruitment soon. He was awarded 2A ’1st Team All-League” and holds a 3.59 GPA.

Defensive Spotlight
Tyrin Evans Tyrin Evans 6'4" | 270 lbs | DL Timberline | 2024 State WA , DL, 6’3″ 270lbs, Skyview ’23
Evans stepped up big as a sophomore and was a very clutch player on both sides of the ball for Skyview. He sizes up with a great frame and build and holds big potential going forward. He holds good position versatility along the DL and was able to find success from multiple roles. He flashes a quick initial ball get off on some plays during his tape, which given his natural ability, will be a major tool to build off of in the future. Evans disengages from blocks well and has shown the ability to make plays lateral to the LOS. He shows a good football IQ at a young age and solid play rec to identify screens and fly to the ball, rather than continuing his attack path toward the QB and getting sucked in. Evans holds solid functional strength for a 2023 kid and shows a good center of gravity and balance when engaged with opponents. He has recently been impressing at camps during the offseason, as he was just awarded MVP at the FBU camp in Seattle. He’s a two way starter for Skyview and helped them achieve a 6-1 season, and projects to spark up his recruitment very soon.
