For high school football fans, you answer came on Saturday to the question: how many athletes would show up to college camps?
As over 800 football prospects made their way to Tampa and the University of South Florida to check out what head coach Jeff Scott and his program was up to this summer.
With the clock ticking on June and another NCAA “Dark Period”, athletes in all classes made sure that not only the USF coaches would see them, but one of the many programs, heading to the one-day camp.
From Marshall to North Dakota State, UMass, Northern Illinois, Valdosta and Howard, college coaches came out to watch this overflow crowd of talent.
In three days, USF had a 24-team 7-on-7 event and over 2,000 athletes on their campus – which is a great thing.
Because there were so many prospects, breaking down each and everyone of them would indeed be a tough chore, but we did spotlight some young men who were to be players that the Bulls have shown interest in.
