WR Kameron Gillespie Kameron Gillespie 5'11" | 185 lbs | WR McCluer | 2022 State MO McCluer c/o 22. Gillespie was one of the top wide receivers who caught everything that came to him. His footwork and sharp route running was a huge killer for defensive backs guarding him at the camp. Whenever Gillespie was up in the WR vs. DB competition, he won every rep. Most of the defenders that attempted to guard him couldn’t figure out an answer on how to stop him. College coaches were completely in awe with his performance. Gillespie also received an offer from Iowa Wesleyan University.
RB Allen Mitchell Allen Mitchell 5'11" | 175 lbs | RB Lutheran-St. Charles | 2023 State MO DeSmet c/o 23. Mitchell is one of the most versatile running backs in the city of St. Louis. He performed lights out at the camp, showing great speed and agility during drills, and dominating every rep in one on ones. Not only Mitchell is a hard runner, he is an elite route runner as well. He caused linebackers to run the other way during one on ones, which is exactly what college coaches are looking for in an all around running back. Mitchell had received offers from Michigan State and the University of Minnesota.
RB Keshawn Ford Keshawn Ford 5'11" | 190 lbs | RB De Smet | 2023 State MO DeSmet c/o 23. Ford was also another running back who stood out at the mega camp on Friday. He is very elusive and an outstanding route runner out the backfield. Ford performed well during the drills, showing his mobility, and showed out in one on ones. Ford forced a lot of linebackers to look the other direction during the 1v1 competition. Him and Mitchell were the only running backs that were performing at an acme.
OT Talan Chandler Talan Chandler 6'3" | 290 lbs | OL Nevada | 2024 State MO Lutheran St. Charles c/o 24. Chandler was one of the offensive lineman that had performed really well. During the drills, he was one of the linemen who was extremely agile and was able to move quickly. Chandler also competed at a high standard during one on ones. He has quick reflexes during pass protections, and he was able to contain defensive lineman from touching the quarterback.
DT Jaylen Banks Jaylen Banks 6'4" | 270 lbs | DL Lutheran North | 2022 State MO Lutheran North c/o 22. Banks was also another lineman who performed extremely well at the camp. He showed his strength and agility during one on ones. The 6-foot-4, 270-pound lineman was able to move quickly off the line and get past his opponents. Banks is one of the lineman who will catch a lot of college coaches’ attention.
ATH Quaran Williams Quaran Williams 6'1" | 170 lbs | ATH Parkway North | 2023 State MO Parkway North c/o 23. Williams showed great athleticism on both sides of the ball. At the camp, he participated at receiver and defensive back. This is what college coaches are looking for in a player. Williams won almost every rep during one on ones, both offense and defense. He had a lot of looks from college coaches at the camp. Williams is the one to look out for this offseason.
