Adams is the Tyreek Hill of Arizona high school football, and projects to have a lights out senior season. He possesses top tier speed as that alone gives him massive big play ability. In addition to his speed, he shows excellent twitch and COD with the ability to make opponents miss. Often utilized as both WR and RB, as he is very dangerous in space. Adams displays a solid initial burst off the LOS and is a clean and fluid route runner. He is explosive at the top of his routes and holds strong route integrity. Tremendous athlete all around and holds 10 offers thus far, landing him the #1 ATH spot in AZ.
[player_tooltip player_id="42795" first="Javen" last="Jacobs"], <em>5’10" 185lbs, Saguaro </em>
<a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2ES1qR">*Junior Film</a>
Jacobs is a very dynamic player on a powerhouse Saguaro program. He can line up at RB, WR, DB, and return punts and kicks and is a threat at all of the above. He shows solid vision as a ball carrier with the ability to make opponents miss. Explosive out of his cuts with top end speed to finish big runs. Solid COD and twitch overall, and is a clean route runner. As a DB, he shows loose hips and can man up on opponents. Good ball skills all around and plays well in space in terms of both in coverage and as a tackler. He holds 9 offers so far and projects to put up big numbers in the fall.
[player_tooltip player_id="42797" first="Devon" last="Grubbs"], <em>6’0" 180lbs, Desert Vista</em>
<a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2EkFKA">*Junior Film</a>
Grubbs is another dynamic player as he’s lined up and made plays at RB, slot, LB (inside and outside), and SS. As a ball carrier, he runs through arm tackles and possesses an excellent combination of both physicality and elusiveness, trending in the direction of an all-purpose back. Solid COD to make opponents miss and will finish runs with aggressiveness. He shows a nice burst when he sees an open lane and shows good top end speed as well. On defense, he is a solid tackler all-around from multiple positions, and shows can man up on opponents in coverage where he flashes nice hand placement to force PBU’s. Just a highly touted athlete all-around and he holds 3 offers thus far.
[player_tooltip player_id="42805" first="Andrew" last="Morris"], <em>6’2" 215lbs, Mesquite<img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-69493" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/redzone/uploads/2020/11/prepredzone-feature-photo-300x197.png" alt="" width="300" height="197" /></em>

Morris sizes up with a solid frame and build, and is a menace at LB for Mesquite. He possesses good instincts and play rec with the ability to make plays sideline to sideline. He closes well as a tackler and is strong at the POA. He does a great job timing the snap on blitz schemes as he shoots through gaps, often untouched, to disrupt plays in the backfield. He shows an excellent nose for the ball to frequently strip ball carriers, and does a good job in coverage as he understands zone responsibilities. As a WR, he’s shown the ability to win contested catches and flashes nice physicality as well. He plays with a mean streak and will be a player to watch in 2021.
[player_tooltip player_id="42852" first="Tavian" last="Dennis"], <em>5’11" 185lbs, Desert Vista</em>
<a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2CRhZ7">*Sophomore Film </a>
Dennis is a solid player as both a DB and WR for Desert Vista. Strong instincts at DB and reacts to the ball well, showing solid closing speed and finishes with a nice striking ability. He’s shown the ability to make plays in both zone and man coverage, and does a good job tracking the hips when in man. Dennis has displayed good anticipation with a nice break on the ball, as he possesses solid range and speed as well. He is a clean route runner as a WR, and holds good ball skills and body control. He had a very limited season at Cesar Chavez in 2020 before transferring to Desert Vista (reasoning for the sophomore film above), so expect Dennis to make a huge immediate impact over at DV.
