Cael Zebrowski Cael Zebrowski 6'1" | QB Verona | 2022 NJ /6-2/190/Verona
Zebrowski has won 24-out-of-29 games as a three-year starter for Verona. He completed 85-out-of-134 passes for 1,354 yards, 13 touchdowns, and zero interceptions in seven games last season. Zebrowski, who is the No. 8 quarterback in the state, completed an impressive 63% of his passes. He also added 181 rushing yards and five touchdowns off 38 carries (4.8 ypc). Zebrowski displays his ability to escape the rush and make throws on the run in the first few plays of his highlights. He has a nice touch on his deep passes. A key to him improving his stock will be showing that he can scan the field and find that second or third receiver. Good size for a quarterback.
Jack Young Jack Young 5'10" | QB Newton | 2022 NJ /5-10/170/Newton
Young completed 48-out-of-77 passes for 943 yards, eight touchdowns, and one interception in six games last season. Young also ran the football 30 times for 291 yards and one touchdown. His team won all six games that it played last season. Young has some work to do on his mechanics. That would include him following through on his passes a little more than he did in his highlights. Young is a legitimate dual-threat quarterback that performed well during his junior season despite being undersized. I do like the way he drops dimes when he pushes the ball downfield.
Owen Haughney Owen Haughney 6'1" | QB Old Bridge | 2022 NJ /6-1/194/Old Bridge
During the 2020 season, he completed 41-out-of-91 passes for 759 yards, eight touchdowns, and four interceptions in six games. He’ll want to improve his completion percentage (45%). Haughney helped lead his team to a 5-1 record. The ball comes out of his hand quickly. Does a good job of throwing the deep ball down the middle consistently. Haughney’s ball-handling skills on RPO plays fake out linebackers and safeties, leaving him with open receivers down the middle.
Patrick LePoidevin Patrick LePoidevin 6'4" | QB Bound Brook | 2022 NJ /6-4/200/Bound Brook
LePoidevin completed 71-out-of-115 passes for 1,405 yards, 22 touchdowns, and five interceptions during the 2020 season. He passes the eye test size-wise with ease. Based on production alone, LePoidevin should’ve been ranked during the most recent update. I’m impressed with the way he flings the football downfield with ease. I wouldn’t say he’s a dual-threat, but he’s certainly mobile and can move the chains with his legs. He puts pressure on second-level defenders when he rolls out to pass.
Savon Myers Savon Myers 6'5" | 215 lbs | QB Manchester Township | 2022 State NJ /6-5/215/Manchester Township
Myers completed 90-out-of-155 passes for 1,400 yards, 15 touchdowns, and four interceptions. He added 222 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns on the ground. Myers throws up a lot of jump-balls, allowing his receivers to make a play. He’ll have to work on his footwork, including setting up a bit quicker in the pocket.
Sean Driscoll Sean Driscoll 6'3" | 190 lbs | QB Audubon | 2022 State NJ /6-2/190/Audubon
Driscoll completed 91-out-of-160 passes for 1,503 yards, 16 touchdowns, and nine interceptions in seven games during the 2020 season.
