Plenty of players had strong seasons, increasing their recruiting stock in various ways. Because of all of this success, Bainbridge found themselves in the playoffs, and dominated it’s competition until they made their way to the 4th round. Here, they met Marist High School, and fell to them 42-0. While this was undoubtedly a disappointment considering their high levels of talent, we expect them to be back stronger than ever next season. Below, we have listed a few of their top players, who will most likely help carry them to success.

It is no surprise for most people that Deyon Bouie Deyon Bouie 5'11" | 185 lbs | ATH Bainbridge | 2022 State GA is the best player that will be returning for Bainbridge next season. Not only is he already a 5 Star athlete, but he has 16 offers from some of the top programs in the country. This includes that of Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. The unique speed, burst, and ability to change direction that he possesses is far beyond the talent that a high school football player typically has. He not only turns the corner well with the ball in his hands, but he also has the bend, burst, and fluidity in his movement skills to help him get in and out of all of his breaks cleanly. Bouie also has good balance, and finds ways to finish plays, regardless of what side of the ball he is on. Bouie is also a natural catcher of the football, and his ball skills and awareness are what helps him to stand out among most. This upcoming season, expect him to continue to dominate the game, and to narrow down his decision of where he will play at the next level.
Zion Bouie- DB
Zion Bouie is by far one of the most talented returners that Bainbridge has going into the 2021 season. He is solid in both zone, and man coverage, and he is not afraid to lay his body on the line when going to make tackles. When making tackles, Bouie may approach ball carriers low at times, but he is very effective at being able to bring them to the ground, and making them feel each hit. Bouie also has a great burst and fluidity to his movement, and this can certainly be seen in the way he gets out of his breaks, and is able to turn and run, as well as flip his hips in coverage. He is a very natural player, and the way he plays with an awareness of the game at hand, while also using his ball skills is one of the most special things about his game. As next season approaches, we think he will have another strong year, and will receive more offers as well.
Ahmari Borden- WR
Borden has developmental talent, and a great frame to start with for a prospect entering into his junior year. At this stage, he is already taller and longer than most players at his position. As a WR, he is a bit raw in his route running, and is stiff out of his breaks, but he does a good job of gaining separation on deep balls. When the ball is thrown his way, he is a good hands catcher, and he does a decent job of watching the ball into his hands. His footwork needs a ton of work at this point of time, but it is good enough to help him get by. If he can work on this, and his overall speed and burst, he can be a huge match up problems for opposing defenses.
Dontavious Broadnax- LB
To say that we were impressed with Broadnax’ film is an understatement. He not only has the ability to be a big time prospect, but he already has a ton of tools that are developmental, and advanced for his age. To start, he plays with patience, is good with his drop steps, and he is very explosive on contact. With this, he plays a very aggressive style of football, which is great to see out of a player who plays his position. This can be seen as he delivers big blows on contact, whether it is in pursuit, or in the box. Broadnax also has a great frame, and solid length for his age, which he uses to his advantage in various situations. Next season, we think that he will start to gain a ton of attention and will start to blow up, especially if he works on his overall footwork, lateral movement, and his use of hands.
