Now it’s time to take a look at the players who did not crack the top 60, but made the new watchlist.
Here is the first part of the breakdown of the OC players on the list.
Pacifica (Garden Grove) always features a few skill players that can compete with anybody in the county. One of those skill players is Jordan Ross Jordan Ross 6'0" | 175 lbs | WR Warren | 2024 State CA . He was the team’s second leading receiver this spring and excels as a kick returner. He has the speed of an upperclassman and makes guys miss after the catch. As a defender, he has great closing speed to the ball and has a good feel for the game. He will be a near 1,000 yard receiver this fall and already has an offer from Notre Dame.

Los Alamitos was the best public school team in Orange County this spring and will be again this fall with its loaded roster. Hasani Scott Hasani Scott 6'0" | 160 lbs | DB Long Beach Poly | 2024 CA will get some playing time this fall and is another speedy receiver/corner hybrid. He is very fast and can line up anywhere on the field. He looks good on film at the lower levels and has the speed to blend in nicely with the varsity players. He will be more fun to watch his junior year after a full offseason in the weight room.

Jackson Sievers Jackson Sievers 6'2" | 220 lbs | LB Capistrano Valley | 2024 State CA was an All-Sea View League defensive player after only playing three games this spring. He is already 210 pounds and is aggressive. He can play inside or outside and is a good tackler. Capo Valley was playing much of the spring season without its best defensive lineman so with him healthy, it should open up more tackling lanes for Sievers. He has All-County potential and will get some recruiting attention after a full fall season.
Levar Talley Levar Talley 6'3" | 215 lbs | LB Santa Margarita Catholic | 2024 State CA is a defensive end for Santa Margarita who excelled on the lower levels last spring. He is long at 6-foot-3 and has room to put on size at 205 pounds. He was in that weird spot last spring of being overqualified to play on the lower levels but not strong enough to play varsity yet. He would benefit from a full offseason in the weight room which makes his junior year very intriguing, but he should be able to work in and get reps on varsity this fall.
