An inside look into some of the 2022 offensive prospects rising up the Prep Redzone Rankings. [player_tooltip player_id="42794" first="Parker" last="Brailsford"], OL, Saguaro At 6’2” 265 lbs., Brailsford shows great versatility and balance as an interior offensive lineman. He’s a plus athlete with good bend and mobility showing quick feet and lateral agility to be an effective blocker in space and at the second level. He’s quick and explosive out of his stance firing off the ball with a flat back and good leverage. He’s strong and powerful at the POA driving his legs through contact with a good ability to move defenders off the LOS. Strong all-around technique and fundamentals showing good footwork, pad level, and punch at the contact point. He’s a finisher that is always attacking and plays with a physical and aggressive attitude. Picked up 13 D1 offers from some top programs around the country before committing to Washington in May 2021. [player_tooltip player_id="42850" first="Jordan" last="Morris"], TE, Red Mountain Morris has skyrocketed up rankings and recruiting boards since the start of 2021. He recently committed to San Diego State after racking up 10 D1 offers from Mountain West and Ivy League programs. Possesses the size of a TE with the movement and athleticism of a wide out. He shows good top end speed and short area burst both as a route runner and ball carrier after the catch. As a receiver, he shows great body control and coordination to track and adjust to ball flight. He shows strong hands with a large catch radius that extends outside his framework. He’s a willing and capable blocker that comes hard off the ball with good balance and base to sustain his blocks. Unfortunately, he will miss his senior year due to an ACL injury but with his size and skill he’ll be one to watch once he lands on campus at SDSU. [player_tooltip player_id="42815" first="Brayten" last="Silbor"], QB, Chaparral One of, if not the most slept on recruit in the state. At 6’3” 195 lbs. he shows great command and understanding of the QB position to go along with all the physical tools he possesses. He’s a natural passer with a live arm that can compete with the other top passers in the AZ 2022 class. He’s a good athlete with great arm strength and accuracy both in the pocket and on the run. Also shows a good ability to make off platform passes without sacrificing that zip or accuracy. Great ability to improvise, his athleticism and pocket mobility allows him to avoid the rush and be creative when protection breaks down. Has all the intangible qualities colleges look for in a QB with his high football IQ, decision making, and leadership skills. Deserves to be more highly recruited. [player_tooltip player_id="100650" first="Cooper" last="Ross"], TE, Heritage Ideal size and frame for a TE at 6’5” 245 lbs. Plays in the small school 8-man league but his talent and ability would transition to any level of football. He’s a dual sport athlete (Basketball/Football) with good all-around movement skills and flexibility showing he can be effective as an in-line TE with his hand in the dirt or line up in space as an H. He’s a developing route runner that does a good job creating space and avoiding defenders on the move. He understands how to use his leverage and size to his advantage by boxing out defenders and attacking the ball at the highest point. He’s a natural pass catcher that flashes great hand-eye coordination and tracking ability. After the catch, he shows he has a second gear to finish the play and extend gains. Also plays DE and could transition well depending on how he develops as he matures. [player_tooltip player_id="100677" first="Jeremiah" last="Moore"], RB, Chandler After playing the back up role in 2020 behind Iowa St. bound [player_tooltip player_id="42598" first="Eli" last="Sanders"] and Columbia bound [player_tooltip player_id="42634" first="Nicolas" last="Nesbitt"], it looks like Moore will get his chance to be RB1 in the high octane Chandler offense. He’s a plus athlete that possesses a strong and well-built frame at 5’10” 205 lbs. He’s a balanced runner with good change-of-direction and quick feet to avoid defenders in space. He makes quick and explosive lateral jump cuts and shows he can accelerate with speed out of those cuts. Demonstrates good patience and vision at the LOS and can successfully read his blocks to find an opening running lane. He runs hard and with good forward leverage to pick up tough yardage. Expect his recruiting to take off once he can fully showcase his ability.
