2021: Available Quarterbacks on the Ascension

Over the past few days, we have evaluated the top-tier quarterbacks in Indiana in the Class of 2021, who are not currently signed with any college team. There are many elite quarterbacks in the Hoosier state that have just recently concluded their high schools careers. Today, we will take a look at the final unsigned quarterbacks who are ranked in our Class of 2021 state rankings. These are four players that will be ready to compete and can help set the tone for any team. College coaches would be making a great call by giving these four prospects an opportunity. Polk is a very accurate passer. His throws do not require very much of an adjustment on the part of the intended receiver. Polk drives the throw to the receiver with good velocity on the ball. [player_tooltip player_id="39032" first="Brenden" last="Lyte"], 5’10, 175 pounds, Bishop Dwenger [player_tooltip player_id="39032" first="Brenden" last="Lyte"] is a pocket-passer quarterback who has great mobility and an eye for the big play. Lyte has good arm strength and solid accuracy. His pocket presence is very impressive. On straight drop-backs, Lyte looks very composed in the pocket. He shows that he has the clock in his head that quarterbacks need. Lyte knows how long he has until he either has to get the ball out or eject the pocket. Lyte has the mobility to evade pass rushers. Prewitt can make every throw in the playbook. Prewitt can test the secondary down the field on any play. He also makes throws to the wide side of the field look easy. Prewitt has great mechanics which would allow for him to play quarterback at a high level in college. [player_tooltip player_id="81746" first="Jace" last="Russell"], 5’11, 170 pounds, North Vigo [player_tooltip player_id="81746" first="Jace" last="Russell"] is a dynamic dual-threat quarterback. He keeps defenses on their toes at all times with his ability to make plays via the pass or the run. As a passer, Russell has good accuracy and he can find the open receiver. As a runner, [player_tooltip player_id="81746" first="Jace" last="Russell"] is a threat to pick up chunk yardage. Either way, Russell is electric on every play. Russell frequently makes defenders miss in the open field. He has the big play mentality that any coach would want. [player_tooltip player_id="81746" first="Jace" last="Russell"] has the ability to tire out a defense very quickly. These four quarterbacks can contribute to the success of any college program. All four will come in and compete hard for an opportunity. They each possess great qualities that would fit the college game nicely. These prospects have the talent and the leadership abilities necessary to excel at the next level.
