Concluding the All-State offensive series we’re taking a look at 1A Football throughout the state of Illinois. I have determined the first team, second team, and honorable mention. Without further ado, let’s dive into the 1A All-State Team – Offensive Edition.

<em>QB Coltin Quagliano 21’ Wethersfield <a href="https://twitter.com/Coltin_Quags05">Twitter</a></em>
Mr. Quagliano is from Wethersfield, he extends plays where he finds his man downfield and gets the ball off under pressure. He makes level 3 throws, has a touch on the deep ball, and puts the ball in the receiver’s basket. Mr. Quagliano can throw on the run, runs the read-option showcasing his mobility with his quick acceleration, and has playmaking abilities.
<em>QB Samuel Streitmatter 21’ Princeville </em>
Mr. Streitmatter is from Princeville, he has a touch on the deep ball and extends plays by finding his man downfield. He gets the ball off under pressure, puts the ball in the receiver’s basket, and can throw on the run. Mr. Streitmatter makes level 1 2 & 3 throws, can put zip on the ball, and can scramble showcasing his mobility with his quick acceleration.
<em>RB Chase Jordan 21’ Orangeville </em>
Mr. Jordan is from Orangeville, he mixes in N/S & E/W running styles and has the speed to turn the corner. He bursts past the 2nd level of defenders, has the vision to see cutback lanes, and is elusive making the first defender miss. Mr. Jordan reads his blocks well, uses his jump cuts, and has quick acceleration.
<em>RB Eric Green 22’ Chicago Hope Academy <a href="https://twitter.com/EricGreen2021">Twitter</a></em>
Mr. Green is from Chicago Hope Academy, he’s an N/S runner and bursts past the 2nd level of defenders. He breaks arm tackles by keeping his feet driving, fights for extra yards by playing through contact, has quick acceleration. Mr. Green reads his blocks well, uses his jump cuts, and plays through the whistle.
<em>WR Khalid Newton 21’ Galena</em>
Mr. Newton is from Galena, he gets upfield after securing the catch and breaks arm tackles by keeping his feet driving. He bursts past the 2nd level of defenders, is a deep threat, and runs jet sweeps. Mr. Newton reads his blocks well, has quick acceleration, and plays through the whistle.
<em>WR Brennan Carlson 21’ Aquin Catholic <a href="https://twitter.com/BrennanC_21">Twitter</a></em>
Mr. Carlson is from Aquin Catholic, he’s quick off the line of scrimmage and makes contested catches by high pointing the ball. He blocks downfield, gets upfield after securing the catch, and uses a toe tap for sideline grabs. Mr. Carlson has quick acceleration, has good route running where his slant and fade routes are his best routes.
<em>TE Zach Baker 21’ Orangeville </em>
Mr. Baker is from Orangeville, he washes the d-line down and makes contested catches by high pointing the ball. He gets to 2nd level blocks, blocks in open space, and keeps his feet driving resulting in pancaking defenders. Mr. Baker gets after it by playing through the whistle showcasing his aggressive playstyle.

Mr. Leonard is from Iroquois West, creates running lanes when pulling and gets to 2nd level blocks. He keeps his feet driving resulting in pancaking defenders, washes the d-line down, and holds his own one-on-one in pass pro. Mr. Leonard fires off the ball, gets hands-on quickly, and has quick acceleration. He gets after it by playing through the whistle showcasing his aggressive playstyle.
<em>OL Peyton Garcia 21’ Princeville <a href="https://twitter.com/pg3fourr">Twitter</a></em>
Mr. Garcia is from Princeville, he washes the d-line down and holds his own one-on-one in pass pro. He gets to 2nd level blocks, keeps feet driving resulting in pancaking defenders, and creates running lanes. Mr. Garcia gets hands-on quickly, plays through the whistle, and fires off the ball.

Mr. Miller is from Arcola, he gets to 2nd level blocks and keeps feet driving resulting in pancaking defenders. He washes the d-line down, creates running lanes, and holds his own one-on-one in pass pro by staying square. Mr. Miller blocks in open space, gets hands-on quickly, and fires off the ball playing through the whistle.

Mr. Brenton is from Casey Westfield, he makes level 3 throws and has touch on the deep ball. He puts the ball in the receiver’s basket, uses his pocket footwork to throw on the run, and can put zip on the ball. Mr. Brenton gets the ball off under pressure, runs the read-option showcasing his mobility, and has quick acceleration.
<em>QB [player_tooltip player_id="155053" first="Easten" last="Schisler"] 22’ Abingdon Avon </em>
Mr. Schisler is from Abingdon Avon, he gets the ball off under pressure and puts the ball in the receiver’s basket. He has a touch on the deep ball, is elusive making the first defender miss, and runs read-option showcasing his mobility. Mr. Schisler has quick acceleration, uses his jump cuts well, and reads his blocks.
<em>RB Hunter Hille 21’ Stockton </em>
Mr. Hille is from Stockton, he’s an N/S runner and bursts through the line of scrimmage. He fights for extra yards by playing through contact, breaks arm tackles by keeping his feet driving, and has quick acceleration showcasing his playmaking abilities.

Mr. Lohnes is from Milledgeville, he gets upfield after securing the catch and makes contested catches by high pointing the ball. He’s quick off the line of scrimmage, breaks arm tackles by keeping his feet driving, and washes the d-line down.

Mr. Pforr is from Oakland, he keeps his feet driving resulting in pancaking the defender and creates running lanes. He gets hands-on quickly, gets after it by playing through the whistle, and attacks.

There is an abundance of talented athletes in 1A Football throughout the state of Illinois. That being said, this is your 1A Football All-State Team Offensive Edition. I wish all of the seniors the best on their journey after they graduate high school. There’s still work left to do for the juniors and sophomores, and I’m excited to watch you all compete.
