2023 Dinwiddie OL Collen Jackson Collen Jackson 6'6" | 325 lbs | OL Dinwiddie | 2023 State VA
Jackson, our 35th ranked recruit in the 2023 class had a great May, with a stellar appearance at the Line Only camp and the end to cap a great month for the 6’6″, 330lbs lineman. Over the course of the month, Jackson is still searching for his first offers but with more stellar months like Jackson had in May, those should be cooling soon
2023 Kecoughtan (Hampton) DE/TE David Anderson David Anderson 6'4" | 235 lbs | DL Kecoughtan | 2023 State VA
Anderson, our 16th ranked recruit in the 2023 class landed his second offer in May, with an offer from William and Mary coming on the 27th,to join his previous offer from Old Dominion with more possibly coming soon. It’s unclear if Anderson will play DE or TE at the next level but his 6’4″ 230lbs frame could be put to good use at either, Anderson’s basketball background could help him become a stellar tight end in the mold of Antonio Gates or Jimmy Graham.
2022 Stone Bridge (Ashburn) OL Carter Sweazie Carter Sweazie 6'3" | 300 lbs | OL Stone Bridge | 2022 State VA
Sweazie started the month off being crowned a state champion as Stone Bridge won the class five title and it just kept snowballing from there. Sweazie, our 55th ranked recruit in the 2022 class also attended the Under Armour All-American camp in Charlotte and picked up four offers in the month from Campbell, Army, Richmond, and Fordham. Sweazie is 6’3″ and 300lbs and has the makings of a really good defensive lineman.
2023 Bayside (Va Beach) DL Lemar Law Lemar Law 6'5" | 260 lbs | TE Green Run | 2023 State VA
Law is a big body DL who also plays TE but for this purpose, I list the 6’6, 300lbs Bayside star as a defensive lineman because I think that’s where he will fit best. Law has good hands, great moves, and a burst off the line that lends himself to being a top-flight DL. Law had a great camp at the Line Only camp and showed his skills against some top-shelf competition. Law already has schools after him as East Carolina, UVA, Maryland, Virginia Tech, ODU, and Liberty.
2022 Green Run (Va Beach) OL Molik Mason Molik Mason 6'6" | 280 lbs | OL Green Run | 2022 State VA
Mason is big and strong at 6’7″ and 310lbs. Mason is physical and plays both sides of the ball as he plays DT and left tackle but Mason is going to be a LT at the next level. Mason looked great at the Under Armour camp in Baltimore at the beginning of the month, showing off against some of the best prospects in the Mid-Atlantic. Mason has been gaining offers lately as Elon, Memphis, Marshall, Louisiana-Monroe, Pitt, Maryland, and Charlotte have offered the Green Run star so far.
2022 Oscar Smith (Chesapeake) OL Maarten Woudsma Maarten Woudsma 6'5" | 315 lbs | OL Oscar Smith | 2022 State VA
Starting of his month with a state title, Woudsma was quiet the rest of the month as he rehabs from an ankle injury in Oscar Smith’s semifinal game but Woudsma has still been gaining offers and while he didn’t compete, was at the Line Only camp. Currently, Woudsma, who is 6’5″ and 315lbs has offers from Elon Fordham, Dartmouth, Campbell, Harvard, Howard, Penn, Columbia, ODU, Morgan State, Nebraska, Pitt, and Liberty
2024 Oscar Smith (Chesapeake) WR/DB Asaad Brown
Brown is already a known commodity in the state at both wide receiver and defensive back but DB is where Brown has told me he will focus on in recruiting. Benefitting from a mostly full schedule at Portsmouth Christian in the fall, Brown is getting ready to transfer to Oscar Smith for his sophomore year. Brown has great hands and is fast and quick with his hips which makes schools wonder what Brown can do for them. Currently, he has a load of offers from schools including ODU, FSU, Ole Miss, Jackson State, UNC, Tennessee, Michigan, Texas A&M, Maryland, and others.
