We’re in the middle of May and we’re seeing high school teams start to wrap up spring practices as we head towards the summer. While most college programs have a good idea about who they are currently targeting in the 2022 class, but some of the state’s top prospects continue to see big offers come their way. We’re even seeing some impressive 2023 and 2024 players start to reel in major D1 offers as well. Offers are coming through the peach state at a rapid pace, and it doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon.
Here are a few prospects who have earned more offers over the last week...

The 5-star from Columbus will be able to pick the school of his choosing when the time comes, and even though he’s starting to narrow down his recruitment and focus on a few select schools, he’s still reeling in major offers. The 6-foot-5 265-pounder picked up a new offer this week from Texas. The Longhorns are on the outside looking in this second, with schools like Georgia, Georgia Tech, USC, Florida, Clemson, among others standing out to Williams at the time.

[player_tooltip player_id="34060" first="Connor" last="Lew"] - Kennesaw Mountain
We’ve written about Lew before in "Under the Radar" stories, but it’s going to be hard to call the 6-foot-4 280-pounder under the radar now with lots of interest starting to come his way. He finally received his first SEC offer this week, and it was from Vanderbilt. The big-time offensive guard has size, power, and moves really well for his size. Look for more offers to start coming his way and look for him to climb the 2023 in-state rankings over the next few months.

[player_tooltip player_id="34028" first="Cayden" last="Lee"] - Hillgrove
One of the top young receivers in the state, Lee is a crisp route-runner with SEC talent. He was hurt a little last season, but when he’s healthy, he’s tough to stop for just about every defensive back in the region. He holds major D1 offers already from Georgia, Auburn, Florida, among others. The 6-foot-0 180-pounder is one of the biggest playmakers in metro-Atlanta and earned another big offer this week from Oregon. Look for more out-of-state programs to jump on board down the road.

Antwan Hill Jr. - Houston County
The Houston County Bears saw Jake Fromm come through their program from 2014-2017, and they have another big-time QB on the way in incoming freshman Antwan Hill Jr. While he’s yet to take a snap in high school, that hasn’t stopped multiple D1 schools from extending an early offer. Both Georgia and Georgia Tech have offered the young 6-foot-2 175-pounder, and he’ll have a lot of eyes on him over the next four years. He has the potential to have an incredible high school career if he lives up to the early hype.

Jaylen Johnson - Appling County
The small-town athlete from Baxley has also been featured in multiple "Under the Radar" stories in the past year, but now that offers are consistently rolling in, Johnson has become one of the hottest prospects in South Georgia this spring. The 5-foot-10 190-pound ATH holds offers from Michigan State, Florida State, South Carolina, among others, and now he holds another ACC offer from Virginia Tech. Johnson rushed for close to 600 yards and three touchdowns while adding 168 yards receiving and two touchdowns. He can also play defense when needed, proving why he’s one of the top athletes in the region.
