Team Maryland may have lost to Team Pennsylvania but that doesn’t mean players didn’t make a name for themselves. The offense struggled to move the ball and was riddled with turnovers despite that these players stood out and left their mark during their final high school football game.

Hamilton showed off his versatility on Monday. He lined up at many different spots including h-back and tight end. Hamilton is listed at 6’5 255 so he has tremendous size. However, he is not only big but very talented as well. He had a fantastic day blocking and really showed his athleticism as he also ran routes. It will be very interesting to see where Rutgers lines up this weapon.

The Good Counsel product did not disappoint. Ricks was amazing in the run game as he was able to get inside defenders and move them creating holes in the run game. He also showed that he is a very good pass blocking guard as he was fantastic in pass pro. Howard got a real gem.

He also showed that he plays angry with his desire to finish blocks. Jackson was not afraid to get dirty and that is a trait every coach wants to have in an offensive lineman.

Once Hawkins got his hands on defenders he was able to have his way with them. This was especially true in pass protection.

Bangura was the lone bright spot out of all the skill position players from Team Maryland. He ran with power and was hard to bring down. He also showed tremendous vision and was able to find openings and hit them. He will be a big problem in the MAC next year.
