8A District 12 QB’s to Watch Out for in 2021

He’ll be a focal point in helping Gulf Coast make the transition up from 7A to 8A this season. Barrett is also a very good student with a 3.18 GPA. Interest in </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">Barrett is picking up; he was invited to the Elite 11 Regionals and the Under Armour Elite Underclassmen Camp this offseason.</span></p> </div> </div> <div id="contentsContainer" class="style-scope qowt-page"> <div id="contents" class="style-scope qowt-page"> <p id="E33" class="x-scope qowt-word-para-0"><span id="E34" class="qowt-font1-Arial"><strong><em>Strengths:</em></strong> he has really good natural arm talent, can throw from anywhere on the field and throw from different arm angles, he has a good quick consistent release, very effective throwing on the run and shows good ball placement and accuracy at all three levels. He’s also athletic enough to maneuver in the pocket or take off and run if needed. He’s an outstanding student with a 4.33 GPA.</span></p> <p id="E75" class="x-scope qowt-word-para-0"><span id="E76" class="qowt-font1-Arial">Strengths: Borchers has very good footwork, </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">showing good shoulder width foot spacing which allows him to stay on balance with his throws. He’s a natural passer that is accurate at all three levels, and shows the ability to process through his progressions. He was invited to the Elite 11 regionals this offseason and is an outstanding student with a 4.5 GPA!</span></p> <p id="E98" class="x-scope qowt-word-para-0 x-scope qowt-word-para-0"><span id="E99" class="qowt-font1-Arial"><em><strong>Strengths:</strong> </em>he has very good accuracy and outstanding touch and ball placement, he makes quick decisions and does a good job anticipating and throwing strikes. He was invited to the Elite 11 Regional camp this offseason and finished number one in their ratings!</span></p> <p id="E121" class="x-scope qowt-word-para-0"><strong><em><span id="E122" class="qowt-font1-Arial">Strengths: </span></em></strong><span id="E123" class="qowt-font1-Arial">He has a prototype frame and good arm strength to make all neccessary throws with zip or touch, he shows good mechanics does a good job keeping his eyes downfield.
