Now that spring practice is over, summer is here, and we’re seeing some of the state’s top prospects continue to reel in major offers. While most college programs have a good idea about who they are currently targeting in the 2022 class, some are starting to extend offers to 2023 and 2024 prospects as well. Offers are coming through the peach state at a rapid pace, and it doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon.
Here are a few prospects who have earned more offers over the last week...
Savion Riley - Kennesaw Mountain
One of the top playmakers in Cobb County, Riley is coming off a great spring where he impressive run in the 7-on-7 circuit due to his size and above average speed. Riley does a great job of catching the ball down the field in 1-on-1 situations. He changes directions on a dime and has a big frame at 6-foot-2 200-pounds. He has good speed but is big and strong enough to break tackles from smaller defensive backs. He has the vision of a running back and is excellent in the screen game. He snatches the ball well out of the air and has great burst to get upfield. He high-points the football well and can make a tough grab even when a defender is in great coverage. Riley is one of the most underrated prospects in the state, but that could be changing real soon. He earned an offer from UCONN this week and more could be on the way soon.

The offers continue to roll in for arguably the top safety prospect in the entire 2023 class. Downs is an impressive athlete at 5-foot-11 180-pounds with great ball skills and overall instincts. He’s physical, knows how to tackle, and does a great job of making a play on the ball in the air. He can cover, help against the run, and do just about everything else you need from a high-caliber safety prospect. He holds major offers from top college programs from across the country, and he added another SEC offer this week from South Carolina. Downs is expected to be one of the top overall defenders in Georgia this upcoming fall.

[player_tooltip player_id="34022" first="Madden" last="Sanker"] - South Paulding
Sanker is a West Georgia lineman and one of the top-rising prospects in the area. One of the top wrestlers in the entire state, Sanker is a big, physical interior lineman who could play either guard or center at the next level. He plays with great leverage, balance, and plays with a mean streak. He loves driving opposing defenders to the ground and does an excellent job opening up holes in the middle of the line. He moves really well for his 6-foot-4 275-pound size and is coming off an excellent showing at the Atlanta Under Armour Camp last week. He recently picked up a major offer from Oregon, and he should see more coming his way sooner than later.
