The Brookings Bobcats finished just short of the perfect season at 11-1. The spread-wing offensive unit had one of the best combinations of speed and power across the board. The line had some quick and powerful linemen, to open gaps for the run game and protect the QB. The backfield had a lot of speed, but still an impressive amount of strength as well, the receiving corps were full of playmakers as well. Defensively, their 3-4 set also had a good blend of speed and power, the line was quick off the ball and engaged the line well. The linebackers and secondary really worked well together in both run support and pass coverage, the whole defense was full of good tacklers. The Bobcats also received the Contenders pick because of the returning firepower for the 2021 season.
