A look at OL from North and Central Arkansas part 2!

As I mentioned in my first article on OL, they are what make every offense successful. OL are a brotherhood. Generally, when one OL is messed with that gets an invite to his brothers to come assist. Playing on the OL is probably the most physical spot on the football field because you are hitting hard every play. OL are tough individuals who lay it on the line for their teams every time they step on the field no matter the opponent. Many QBs and RBs have thanked their OL after having a great game statistically because they know without the big men up front blocking, nothing goes as planned. I respect those who praise their OL because as I said it is a tough job. Here are five more OL who I believe are ready to make a difference for their teams this fall and impress college scouts everywhere. <strong>Isaac Cooper- </strong>OL 2022 Springdale Bulldogs Isaac is another OL who on film impresses from start to finish. He stands at 5’9 and weighs in at 240 pounds. Isaac runs a 5.4/40. Isaac plays with quick feet driving his man to the whistle. He blocks GUT (Guard Under Tackle) impressively. He has great field awareness and pancakes a lot of blocking assignments. In pass pro he protects his QB at all costs. Another part of the Bulldog offense Isaac excels in is the screen game. Isaac does his job step by step in the screen game and hustles hard to get out in front of the receiver leading the way. He uses his hands well. Colleges should be watching Isaac this fall because he will be an asset to any college. <strong>Joshua Witt- </strong>OL 2022 Clinton Yellowjackets Joshua is an impressive OL whose size stands out. He stands at 6’2 and weighs in at 265 pounds. He mostly anchors the Yellowjacket OL at the T position. Joshua is extremely aggressive and blocks to the whistle never stopping his feet. Joshua has great field awareness always looking for that next man to block. Great in both the run game and in pass pro, Joshua is certainly fun to watch on film. Colleges should have Joshua on their lists and be making plans to watch him play this Fall. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="133649" first="Jaden" last="Vallance"]- </strong>OL 2022 Quitman Bulldogs Jaden is another one who impresses on film for the Quitman Bulldogs. Jaden stands at 5’11 and weighs in at 245 pounds. In Jaden’s Junior year he recorded an impressive blocking grade average of 81.4% and 13 pancake blocks in just 6 games. Jaden has excellent get-off and down blocks great as well. Jaden is aggressive in his play and his feet drive from snap to whistle. Jaden blocks well in pass pro with good feet and using his hands properly. Colleges should be watching Jaden this Fall. <strong>Drake Henson- </strong>OL 2023 Central Arkansas Christian Mustangs Drake is another OL for the Mustangs who has had the benefit of watching some incredibly good OL before him. My first- year coaching at CAC, Drake was a freshman for the Junior Mustangs. What impressed me is on the sidelines when I was giving instructions to him, he never took his eyes off me and that told me he is coachable. Drake can be aggressive, and he has tons of potential. Being just a Junior this year, he can help the Mustang OL be great. I believe in him and I also believe he will have a great Junior and Senior season. Colleges should put him on their lists now. <strong>Matthew Casteel- </strong>OL 2023 Mills University Comets Matthew is another OL that is just a Junior and is set to have a great 2 seasons for the Comets. Matthew on film showed toughness against bigger DL and played aggressively to the whistle. From the snap, Matthew drives his feet well never stopping them until the whistle. He uses his hands well and he also has good hands. I believe Matthew has great potential and is just getting started. Colleges should be making plans to watch this young man grow and excel. &nbsp; &nbsp;
