There is no lack of talent in the state at the quarterback position. Football programs in all divisions of the state have some remarkably impressive signal callers who can throw the ball and/or make big plays or keep drives alive with their feet. This is part one of some Ohio quarterbacks in the 2022 class whose stock is rising as their senior season approaches.
<strong>Broghan McCaughey 6’2” 200 Cincinnati St. Xavier</strong>
Broghan displays outstanding pocket presence and decision making as a quarterback who led his team to a state championship. He has an excellent touch on the football and can drop it over the top or put it into small windows to his receivers.

Sherwood is a true dual-threat quarterback whose running ability sometimes his passing talents. He has a quick release and can rifle the football to his talented receivers but also destroy a defense by running the read option, designed quarterback runs, or when scrambling.

Brady finds a way to escape from a heavy rush to stay alive in the pocket. He can throw accurately when on the run or off balance. He is an extremely instinctive quarterback who knows when to slide or step up in the pocket or when to tuck and run.

Few quarterbacks are as impressive in the red zone as Moore. He throws the fade and post corner routes with perfect timing, anticipation, and touch. Moore is also a force when sprinting out by showing his toughness in putting the ball away and running it into the endzone.

Jennings is one of the most athletic and versatile quarterbacks in the state. He has a strong arm and loves to throw the deep ball. Opposing defenses also must account for his speed and mobility every play, his feet are as dangerous as his arm.
