The conference is composed of 32 teams in Central Ohio which are broken up into 5 divisions. This is a look at the Buckeye Division of the OCC and its top talented seniors for the upcoming fall who will graduate in the 2022 class. The schools in the Buckeye Division are Pickerington Central, Central Crossing, Lancaster, Newark, Groveport Madison, and Reynoldsburg.
CJ Doggette 6’2” 275 DL Pickerington Central
Currently ranked the number three defensive lineman in the state for 2022, Doggette is versatile enough to play any position on the defensive front. He is quick off the ball and uses his hands well to strike and disengage from offensive linemen.
Tyler Gillison Tyler Gillison 6'3" | 250 lbs | DL Pickerington Central | 2022 State OH 6”3” 250 DL Pickerington Central
Right behind Doggette, Gillison is the number four ranked defensive lineman in Ohio. He is most impressive as an outside pass rusher who challenges anyone to block him when coming off the edge. He also displays a burst in lateral pursuit.
Dakari Frazier Dakari Frazier 6'4" | 245 lbs | DL Pickerington Central | 2022 State OH 6”4” 245 DL Pickerington Central
Frazier is another talented Pick Central defensive lineman in the 2022 class. Dakari can flip his hips in transition and has the speed to make tackles on the perimeter and in the openfield. Frazier also does an excellent job of defending the read option.
Kwabena Asamoah Kwabena Asamoah 6'4" | 300 lbs | OL Pickerington Central | 2022 State OH 6’4” 300 OL Pickerington Central
Asamoah is an impressive run blocker who is powerful in his upper body and core. He sustains blocks by getting his hands inside the defenders’ frame and locking on then driving his legs. Asamoah also does is effective when pulling and trapping.
Kyle Imboden Kyle Imboden 6'4" | 300 lbs | OL Pickerington Central | 2022 OH 6’4” 300 OL Pickerington Central
Despite some injury history, Imboden is a stout and reliable offensive guard that get movement at the line of scrimmage and can climb to the second level to cover up linebackers. He is most effective as a down and double team blocker.
Eli Rathburn 6’4” 190 DB Lancaster
Rathburn is a tall and lanky safety that has deceiving speed and athleticism. He is a physical defensive back that makes sure tackles in the openfield and drives his legs on contact. Rathburn is a real competitor that can run plays down from behind.
Ajay Locke 5’10” 195 LB Lancaster
Locke is a hard-nosed middle linebacker that loves physical contact and packs a punch when making a hit. He flows along the second level keeping tempo on the ball carrier then closes at the proper angle to finish the play.
Delaney Wilburn Delaney Wilburn 5'11" | 185 lbs | DB Groveport Madison | 2022 State OH 5”11” 185 DB Groveport Madison
Delaney displays great range from the free safety position. He gets a quick break on the pass when playing coverage and shows exceptional timing when going up to make a play on the football. It’s not uncommon for a Wilburn interception to turn into a pick six.
Dijon Jennings Dijon Jennings 6'0" | 185 lbs | QB Reynoldsburg | 2022 State OH 6’0” 185 QB Reynoldsburg
Jennings has a strong arm and isn’t afraid to launch the ball from anywhere on the field. He is equally effective as a pocket passer or when throwing on the move. Jennings is a mobile quarterback who can evade a hard rush then hurt you with his feet.
Markez Gillam 5’6” 135 WR Reynoldsburg
Gillam is dynamite in a small package. This guy is a big play maker after catching the pigskin or as a return specialist. He makes defenders miss in the openfield with his shiftiness then turn on the afterburners as he speeds toward the endzone. Gillam is fun to watch due to his explosiveness.
