Next Level Athletix does a great job with their coaches, and Howard is no exception. Here are the defensive backs who stood out during last Sunday’s workout.
2021 Nick Bucaro Nick Bucaro 6'0" | 185 lbs | WR Bartlett | 2021 IL , Bartlett (6’ and 178lbs) @NickBucaro246
I have no idea how Bucaro fell through he 2021 recruiting cracks but he did. The senior going unsigned is an absolute travesty, he’s got tons of talent and would be a great addition to plenty of schools defensive back group. Bucaro has good size and solid speed, he’s not a burner but does well with putting himself into good position to makes plays. He’s always around the ball and every time I have seen him, he’s gotten at least one pick during the 1v1 portion. Someone needs to give this young man a chance, you won’t be disappointed.
2021 Henry Woods, Lincoln Way East (5’10” and 173lbs)@henrywoods_9
Woods transfer came at a unfortunate time for the senior, as the moved from Lincoln Way Central to LWE and then the pandemic hit. He’s a player who probably got lost in the shuffle, but Woods would be a solid addition to a team at the next level. A great frame for Woods, who has really been putting the weight room work in, he’s got solid hip movement. Good enough hands to take away passes when given the opportunity, Woods is another player who could certainly help a school at the next level.
2022 Sean Kinard, Brother Rice (6’ and 160lbs) @seankinard5
Long and lean, Kinard is very fluid for a defensive back, showing good hip movements. He’s got some very good footwork and uses his speed to cover ground. I’d like to see him get in the weight room a bit more, bigger receivers could be a problem, especially in press coverage. Very good bend and flexibility, Kinard has the potential to have a very in junior year.
2022 Jordan McAdoo, Fenwick (6’3” and 170lbs) @jmcadoo_21
The basketball player is a bit of an enigma, McAdoo possess some fantastic size for a corner. He’s got the hip flipping ability you would expect from a hooper, hands also. McAdoo is so raw on the gridiron, but he’s already showing that he can be a player at corner. One of the few picks that happened on Sunday, McAdoo is such an intriguing prospect. Could he fill out and be an outside linebacker? Potentially, but he has the abilities to stay at corner and be a huge problem for opposing offenses. I’ll be keep a close eye on his junior year on the football field, you should too because the talent is there to make an impact at the next level.
2023 John Nestor, Marist (6’1” and 175lbs) @johnnestor_7
The ceiling is very high with Nestor and isn’t not due to his athletic ability, which is impressive. It’s his football IQ that stood out to me, as on more than one occasion he was directing the other defensive backs where to lineup and their coverage assignments. I love players who not only combine the cerebral part of the game with physical talent, Nestor falls in that category.

He made multiple plays during the group portion, either at safety or corner. I like him better at safety, due to the IQ factor, but also because his hip movement wasn’t as crisp as you’d like to see out of a corner. Either way, Nestor is a player and should have a very productive sophomore year.
2023 Justin Stawczyk, St. Rita (5’11” and 175lbs) @Justin_Stawczyk
A very good athlete who showed solid recognition skills out of zone coverage. He knew when to continue to drop back when the play was obviously behind him, which resulting in Stawczyk making this play.

A very good frame as Stawczyk has a good lower base, but could add on some muscle in his upper half. He’s got plenty of time to do so, and Stawczyk has a solid future in front of him.
