NE Ohio’s Greater Cleveland Conference – 2022 Preview Continued

Over the next few weeks, Coach Bill Conley and I, will preview the best conferences and players within them.  Featured below are the best 2022 players from Northeast Ohio’s Greater Cleveland Conference. <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Solon</strong></span> <strong>Jakob Oldenburg</strong> - OLB - 6'1 210 - Plays all over the defense and dominates the competition.  Very quick off the snap and can play with leverage from the 3 point and 2 point stance.  Very high motor and great tackler.  He has a couple very good pass rush moves and uses his superior speed to hit an edge quickly.  Can execute crisp pass drops and closes space quickly. HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/8131496/Jakob-Oldenburg <strong>Markell Green</strong> - LB/SS/FB/TE - 5'11 200 - Markell is like a Swiss Army Knife.  He plays many positions at a really high level.  I love his ability on the defensive side of the ball.  He is a playmaker at LB and always around the ball.  Very quick to the tackle and brings the power from his hips and legs.  He closes space well and escapes blocks fast.  He is a very good SS and can cover the TE's and RB's up the seam in man coverage.  Very exciting player in the Solon class of 2022. HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11280763/Markell-L-Green <strong>Chase Johnson</strong> - DE - 6'1 220 - Chase is dynamic athlete and gets off the ball very quickly.  He has a very quick first two steps.  He gets up the field and is able to bend quick laterally.  Plays with a devastating punch and escapes blocks quickly.  He has two good pass rush moves from the edge and uses them to his advantage.  Great tackler and is tenacious. HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/10231327/Chase-Johnson <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Euclid</strong></span> <strong>Sidney Little</strong> - WR - 6'0 185 - Going to be a very good Senior WR.  He is tall and fast.  He runs good routes and can take the top off the defensive coverage.  Gets open in zone coverage and catches the ball away from his body.  He has good burst and open field wiggle. HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11235039/Sidney-Little <strong>Claishon Ivory</strong> - WR - 5'8 160 - Outstanding football player with great athleticism.  He can play outside and in the slot at a really high level.  Defenders have to play way off or he can easily run by them.  He has great wiggle in his routes and separates in the open seams with the swing of his head or his hips.  Can score every time he touches the ball.  They use him in the jet sweep game and he is a great runner. HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11219439/Claishon-Ivory <strong>Davon Morrison</strong> - OL - 6'1 265 - Davon is a very good OL in NE Ohio.  He has great flexibility in his stance and is very athletic.  He is a great puller and can get up in the second level of the defense very well.  He has a very good punch and runs his feet through the defenders.  Great posture and punch as a pass blocker.  He has good technique and keeps his feet moving.
