NE Ohio’s Greater Cleveland Conference – 2022 Preview Continued

Over the next few weeks, Coach Bill Conley and I, will preview the best conferences and players within them.  Featured below are the best 2022 players from Northeast Ohio’s Greater Cleveland Conference. <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Strongsville</strong></span> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="34381" first="Blake" last="Miller"]</strong> - OL - 6’6 315 - Committed to Clemson.  Has the type of talent to play on Sunday’s and make a lot of money.  Outstanding technique, outstanding footwork, and outstanding physical play in the run and pass.  Every bit of a 4 star.  Long arms to keep defenders at bay.  Comes off the ball low and hard in the run game and pancakes DL play after play.  Has a mean streak and is extremely aggressive. HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/10945216/Blake-Miller <strong>Anthony Gentile</strong> - LB - 5’9 218 - Anthony is an outstanding football player at LB.  He is quick and athletic and makes plays all over the field.  Fast with his reads and closes on ball carriers quickly.  He takes on blocks up and through the offensive blockers and escapes well.  He is a really impressive blitzer with advanced pass rush moves.  He wreaks havoc in the backfield. HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11571775/Anthony-Gentile <strong>Andrew Hudak</strong> - OL - 6’0 260 - Andrew plays on the right side and is a really good lineman.  He is very aggressive and uses it to inflict devastating blocks on the first and second level.  Very quick puller who gets up the crease fast and routinely pancakes LB’s and Safeties.  I was impressed with his pass blocking technique and movement.  He keeps defenders off the QB and moves his feet with proper inside out coverage.  Very good puncher in the pass game. HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/5487965/Andrew-Hudak <strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Elyria</span></strong> <strong>Alex Lowery</strong> - C - 6'0 265 - Very technically sound Center with a mean streak.  Alex snaps the ball the old school way and gets his off hand up and into the defender quickly.  Has good flexibility in his stance and moves people out of the way easily.  He blocks to the whistle and goes back for the finish.  Commands the offensive line and you can tell they have their calls correctly. HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11343352/Alexander-Lowery <strong>Desmond Whitfield</strong> - QB - 5'6 135 - Dual threat QB who gets the ball out of his hand quickly.  Has good throwing mechanics and gets his hips through the throw.  Impressive athlete who can really affect the game with his legs.  Has open field wiggle and ability to score every time he touches the ball.
