Prep Redzone looks at five Class of 2022 wide receivers that proved their ability to make big plays on the field last season. To be on the list, you had to have caught at least 20 passes during the 2020 season. The data being used comes from the statistics that were entered by coaches on the MaxPreps website. There are four factors that went into determining who made the list: catches, yards per catch, total yardage, and touchdowns.
Here are five wide receivers that averaged at least 15-plus yards per catch during the 2020 season.

He’s not the fastest on the field but [player_tooltip player_id="27606" first="D’Andre" last="Sampson"] seems to make plays for big yardage when called upon. Despite his team going winless during the 2020 season, Sampson caught 21 passes for 394 yards (18.8 yards per catch) and two touchdowns. He had a season-high in catches (6) against Westmont Hilltop on Sep. 18. Sampson will most likely end up being on the defensive side of the ball at the next level at the safety position. Sampson is ranked as the No. 31 defensive back in his class.

It’s scary to think of the numbers [player_tooltip player_id="27566" first="Anthony" last="Ivey"] would’ve put up had his team been able to play 10 games. His speed is too much for defensive backs at the high school level and the double-teams don’t work against him. Unless you give him some type of resistance at the line of scrimmage, he’s running past everybody with ease. Ivey, a Penn State commit, has one more season of terrorizing defensive backs in the Lebanon-Lancaster league. Last season, Ivey caught 23 passes for 546 yards (23.7 yards per catch) and eight touchdowns in just four games. Ivey is ranked as the No. 1 wide receiver and the No. 8 overall prospect in his class. Oh yeah, he is committed to Penn State.
[player_tooltip player_id="87828" first="Owen" last="Sensenig"] <strong>Ι 5-10 Ι 165 Ι Manheim Central</strong><iframe src="//www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/13184131/5fb48bdab53e5605240488bf" width="640" height="360" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe>
[player_tooltip player_id="87828" first="Owen" last="Sensenig"]’s sharp route-running leads me to believe that he will best-suited for the slot position at the next level if he stays on the offensive side of the ball. Sensening does a magnificent job of making tough catches across the middle. His straight-line speed is ok but that is something that’s an area he can work on improving. During the 2020 season, Sensenig caught 31 passes for 676 yards (21.8 yards per catch) and 11 touchdowns. Sensenig is ranked as the No. 34 wide receiver in the state.
[player_tooltip player_id="95756" first="Aanjay" last="Feliciano"] <strong>Ι 6-2 Ι 190 Ι Conrad Weiser HS</strong>

When you play in an offense that doesn’t throw the football that much, you have to make the most out of any opportunities. [player_tooltip player_id="95756" first="Aanjay" last="Feliciano"] did exactly that during the 2020 season. In seven games, he caught 28 passes for 593 yards (21.3 yards per catch) and seven touchdowns. Keep in mind that his high school team threw the football over 14-plus times in four games. He had a season-high in both catches (7) and yardage (144) in a 48-7 win over Daniel Boone on Oct. 16. Feliciano is ranked as the No. 21 wide receiver in the state.
<strong>Vincent Clark Ι 5-10 Ι 175 Ι Freeport HS</strong>

Vincent Clark made the most out of four games he could play in last season. He caught 20 passes for 383 yards (19.2 yards per catch) and three touchdowns last fall. He's not going to beat you deep going down the field but he will make that 10-20 yard grab with regularity.
