Prep Redzone looks at the current prospect rankings for Maryland’s 2022 recruiting class. They postponed the 2020 high school football season to this spring because of COVID-19. Most of these players have not completed their junior season of football yet. Based on some research, you’ll see some changes after the next rankings update by Prep Redzone.
For now, let’s look at where things stand in the 2022 Maryland Football Prospect Rankings, No. 29-20.

<strong>No. 29 [player_tooltip player_id="90525" first="Marquise" last="Allsup"] </strong><strong>Ι 6-1 Ι 190 Ι Running Back Ι St. Vincent Pallotti HS</strong>
It lists Allsup as a running back, but his primary position is safety. He only played three games because of COVID-19. It should rank Allsup as a defensive back in our next update.
<strong>No. 28 [player_tooltip player_id="90524" first="Breven" last="Stubbs"] </strong><strong>Ι 5-11 Ι 160 Ι Defensive Back Ι Fort Hill HS</strong>
Stubbs has an offer from Navy, Maryland, UConn, and Temple. He is the No. 9 defensive back in the state for now. Stubbs is a candidate to rise in our rankings during the next update.
<strong>No. 27 [player_tooltip player_id="90523" first="Tyrin" last="Woodby"] Ι 6-1 Ι 170 Ι Defensive Back Ι St. Frances Academy</strong>
Woodby is one of the most recruited cornerbacks in the northeast. He has an offer from Boston College, Buffalo, Liberty, Marshall, Maryland, UMass, Ole Miss, Pittsburgh, Temple, West Virginia, and Sacred Heart. He is the No. 8 defensive back in the state.
<strong>No. 26 [player_tooltip player_id="90522" first="Terron" last="Kellman"] Ι 5-10 Ι 190 Ι Running Back Ι St. Frances Academy</strong>
Kellman has an offer from Boston College. He is the No. 1 running back in the state.
<strong>No. 25 [player_tooltip player_id="90521" first="Bryce" last="Barnes"] Ι 6-1 Ι 180 Ι Defensive Back Ι Quince Orchard HS</strong>
Bowling Green, Duke, East Carolina, Michigan, and Toledo have all offered Barnes. He is the No. 7 defensive back in the state.
<strong>No. 24 [player_tooltip player_id="90520" first="Phil" last="Rawlins"] Ι 6-0 Ι 185 Ι Defensive Back Ι St. John’s (DC)</strong>
Rawlins has an offer from Maryland. He is the No. 6 defensive back in the state.
<strong>No. 23 [player_tooltip player_id="90519" first="Kellan" last="Wyatt"] Ι 6-2 Ι 210 Ι Linebacker Ι Archbishop Spalding HS</strong>
Wyatt is an outside linebacker commit for Maryland. Liberty, UMass, and Syracuse all offered Wyatt too. He is the No. 2 linebacker in the state.
<strong>No. 22 [player_tooltip player_id="90518" first="Joshua" last="Thompson"] Ι 6-2 Ι 190 Ι Defensive Back Ι St. John’s (DC)</strong>
Yes, another St. John’s defensive back getting love in these rankings. Arizona State, Boston College, Buffalo, Cincinnati, FIU, Michigan, Old Dominion, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, South Carolina, Stanford, and Toledo are among the schools that have offered Thompson as a cornerback. He is the No. 5 defensive back in the state<strong>. </strong>
<strong>No. 21 [player_tooltip player_id="90517" first="Steven" last="Sannieniola"] Ι 6-2 Ι 180 Ι Defensive Back Ι Bullis</strong>
Sannieniola has several Power 5 offers that include Boston College, Duke, Maryland, Pitt, Vanderbilt, Virginia, and West Virginia. Over 10-plus schools have offered him a scholarship to play cornerback for their team. He is the No. 4 defensive back in the state.
<strong>No. 20 [player_tooltip player_id="90516" first="Nate" last="Kurisky"] Ι 6-3 Ι 225 Ι Tight End Ι Gonzaga</strong>
Kurisky’s 20-plus offers include Maryland, Rutgers, Virginia Tech, Boston College, Duke, East Carolina, Georgia Tech, and Louisville. He is the No. 1 tight end in the state.
