Wide Receiver Newcomers For 2021

These receivers could be making a splash in 2021 with their play and see their recruitment start to grow with a big season.   Jayden Helmick Tyler Consolidated High School 2023 Jayden showed great potential in his film. He showed good route running and the ability to track the ball well in the air. He showed great hands and the willingness to fight for catches thrown his way. His freshman and sophomore season helped him gain some experience and he should look to take off in his junior season and be a productive receiver in the state.   [player_tooltip player_id="103619" first="Nolan" last="Shimp"] Lincoln County High School 2022 Nolan had a great junior season. The reason I put him on this list is because I feel he shows great potential on the offensive side of the ball as an all purpose player. He showed great vision and the ability to extend plays when having the ball in his hands. He showed a great burst and the ability to fight through arm tackles and get downhill fast.   [player_tooltip player_id="113069" first="Nakyin" last="Harrell"] Huntington High School 2022 Nakyin had a good junior season with a great deal of potential. He showed great athleticism and made a some great catches down the field. He uses his speed to his advantage and often times was just outrunning defenders. He shows great potential with still learning to run routes and should look to see his production jump going into his junior season next fall.   [player_tooltip player_id="58789" first="Evan" last="Dennison"] Fairmont Senior High School 2022 Evan showed great upside in his junior season and started to make a name for himself. He shows great poise when running routes and shows a great catch radius as well. His route running is sharp and he shows great speed and agility when running them as well. He should look to have a big year with his team being a pass heavy offense and should see his production increase with being one of the top receivers on his squad next year.
