These offensive players could be in the mix to win offensive player of the year in 2021 with their fantastic play and are dark horse predictions!   [player_tooltip player_id="58825" first="Mondrell" last="Dean"] South Charleston High School 2023 RB Mondrell has had a great career and a great sophomore season as well. He's already receiving FBS interest from many schools mostly as an athlete. As a running back he's a patient runner but also can get downhill fast with his underrated speed and being an overall bigger back listed at 6'2. He rarely goes down on first contact and shows great athleticism when finishing off runs. Look for Mondrell to continue to get better and better and become one of the best athletes in the state.   [player_tooltip player_id="58758" first="Jeremiah" last="King"] Robert C. Byrd High School 2022 RB Jeremiah has also had a great career so far. He's a very big and athletic running back who runs strong and fights through first contact and finishes off runs. He's a patient runner and lets his blocks set up before capping them off with huge runs. He has solid speed but has underrated agility for being a bigger back and should see his role grow even more with being a focal point of the offense.   [player_tooltip player_id="58766" first="Trevor" last="Lowe"] Nitro High School 2022 QB Trevor had a great season for Nitro following his junior season. The quarterback showed his durability and ability to be the focal point of the Nitro offense. He showed that he can both run and throw the ball consistently and make any throw on the field necessary. He fights for extra yards and shows the ability to extend plays both through the air and with his feet. When he was on the field he made every throw and showed he's capable of extending plays both on the ground and through the air. He excels in throwing receivers open and reading the defense. He was featured as player of the week multiple times throughout the season for his play. He shows that he's able to extend plays with his feet and make accurate throws down the field with his arm. He fights for extra yards and shows great leadership with producing for his offense. Look for his role to grow exceptionally and be the focal point of the offense.
