#2 [player_tooltip player_id="90271" first="Demeioun" last="Robinson"], DL - Quince Orchard
Robinson provides an immediate upgrade to the Terps defensive line as an edge rusher. He's quick off the ball and through the gap before the Tackle can put his hands on him. He pushes Tackle's back with his long arms. He is versatile and can play from both a 2-point or a 3-point stance. However, the Terps should keep him in a 3-point stance as he is way more disruptive from this leverage.
#17 [player_tooltip player_id="90286" first="ZionAngelo" last="Shockley"], DL - St. Frances
ZionAngelo is another upgrade to the defensive line as an edge rusher. He has good size and speed to play the position at the next level. He's quick off the ball and has good hands to fight off blocks from the Tackle's. He plays from a 3-point stance. He should compliment Robinson very well in the front 4.
#19 [player_tooltip player_id="90288" first="Dante" last="Trader"], DB - McDonogh
Dante is my favorite signee from the Terps class of 2021. He's listed as a DB but the kid can play both sides of the ball. When you put on the film, his playmaking skills show instantly. He has great ball tracking skills and soft hands which will make him a threat to opposing QB's or a big play for his own. If the ball touches his hands, he's looking to go the distance. Keep your eye out for Dante, he is an underated playmaker.
#22 [player_tooltip player_id="90291" first="Tommy" last="Akingbesote"], DL - CH Flowers
Tommy will be an interior rusher on the Terps defensive line. His frame is big but he can still use more weight to play on the inside. He is a run stopper. He plays with power and pushes the pocket back making it tough for the QB. He probably won't be an immediate upgrade but look for him to join his peers from the 2021 class on the front 4 in the future.
#23 [player_tooltip player_id="90292" first="Marcus" last="Bradley"], DL - Quince Orchard
Marcus will be another interior rusher for the Terps. Look for him to play alongside Tommy in a couple of seasons. He has good size already for the position but will need to get stronger for guys at the next level. He is another run stopper; very difficult to block without good technique. Maryland looks to make defensive strides by upgrading their D-Line with 4 of the top 7 defensive lineman in the state.
