I am providing an overview of the 4A/4AA All-State Offense First Team. He passed for over 2,400 yards during the 2019 season. <strong>Landin Sledge, Riverside</strong> is an accurate passer and a good runner when needing to avoid a sack. He was the leader in Passing Yards and Total Yards amongst 4A Quarterbacks in NC during the 2019 season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="34438" first="Cameron" last="Smith"], Olympic</strong> was selected for the running back position. An explosive runner who finds an opening to break into the open field. He rushed for over 1,900 yards during the 2019 season. Three athletic wide receivers were selected: <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="44969" first="Christian" last="Hamilton"], Hickory Ridge</strong>, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="28481" first="Dalton" last="Stroman"], Richmond County</strong>, and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="28658" first="William" last="Hawkins IV"], Heritage</strong> who runs precision pass routes and catches the ball in his hands. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="28451" first="Bryson" last="Nesbit"], South Mecklenburg</strong> selected for the tight end position. He is a big target with good hands and runs well. He is a punishing blocker who drives defender out of the play. The five big guys up front that were selected for the offensive line: <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="28457" first="Andrew" last="Canelas"], Leesville Road, [player_tooltip player_id="28454" first="Jaleel" last="Davis"], Richmond County, [player_tooltip player_id="28491" first="Andrew" last="Jones"], Reagan, [player_tooltip player_id="28550" first="Greyson" last="Houchins"], Hough, and [player_tooltip player_id="28650" first="Cade" last="Goldman"], Hickory Ridge. [player_tooltip player_id="107429" first="Tate" last="Carney"], Davie </strong>is an athlete who plays multiple positions on the field. He is a shifty runner with a good change of direction in traffic. He rushed for over 2,000 yards during the 2019 season. Three talented wide receivers were selected: <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="108947" first="Jack" last="Reynolds"], Davie, Brock Biestek, Cardinal Gibbons, </strong>and<strong> [player_tooltip player_id="28576" first="Jacquon" last="Gibson"], Hough</strong>. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="28458" first="Lawson" last="Albright"], Grimsley</strong> was selected for the tight end position. He shields his body to make the catch and is difficult to bring down.
