Notable 2021 D2 Commits

Arizona has not disappoint in any level or talent. There are some big time playmakers who will be heading to D2 programs. Excellent route runner with top end speed, and does a tremendous job pressing up the DB’s toes and explodes into his route to generate separation. Tracks the ball well and wins contested catches, can take the top off the defense, and even take a screen to the house. Just a flat out playmaker. [player_tooltip player_id="42645" first="Mason" last="Osborn"], <em>OL, Chaparral HS</em>- <strong>Northern State University</strong> Big, thick frame and plays with a mean streak. He shows a good punch and physicality and holds ground very well. Excellent power and strength all around and absolutely bullies his opponents. Shows good hand placement with a solid overall IQ. Stays on blocks well and is a Julian Edelman type player. He does a great job setting up his routes, and is very explosive out of his cuts. He shows excellent short area quickness and gets his head around quick and gets upfield quickly after the catch. [player_tooltip player_id="93259" first="Alexander" last="Bruns"], <em>OL, Hamilton HS</em>: <strong>Colorado Mesa University </strong> Powerful kid with a strong lower and top half. Very aggressive lineman that often gains solid leverage, which was a major part in the explosive Hamilton offense. He shows solid athleticism and quickness to get out quickly when pulling, and did a good job reaching to the second level. He did a great job with route/concept recognition and breaks on the ball well. He closes well on ball carriers and did a great job flying up for run support. Excellent athlete all around and can man up, sit in zone, or provide run support. He’s a very balanced DB overall. [player_tooltip player_id="42676" first="Isaiah" last="Webb"], LB, Cinega HS: <strong>Western New Mexico University</strong> Webb shows excellent reaction and is strong at the POA. He’s faced much adversity the past two seasons from an injury his junior year and COVID cancellations his senior year, but has still put together a solid tape. Strong, thick lower half and he uses it well to strike through opponents. H’es shown a good nose for the ball, stripping ball carriers to force turnover.
