As we closed the book on the crazy 2020 season, there were a number of programs and prospects in the region – in all classes – that started to get plenty of attention.
While public schools have continued to climb the ladder to get back to the state finals, the prospects at all schools – including 3A state champion Trinity Christian, 2A state runner up University Christian and 4A runner up The Bolles School.
As we do throughout the course of a season, we get to every area in the state to check in some prospects that we have watched – and start to give them the exposure they deserve.
Today, we have impressive underclassmen:
2022 – Johnathan Goddard, DL/OLB, Jacksonville Trinity Christian. One of the reasons why this program – under head coach Verlon Dorminey – was able to derail three-time defending state champion Chaminade-Madonna, A dynamic pass rusher, who finished with eight sacks, 15 tackles for loss. This will be a major player for the Conquerors.

2022 – Kyree Hammond, DB, Jacksonville Raines. When you bring back a gifted talent like this, you automatically put yourself in a position to build something special – like this team has done for years. This a very active safety, who came up with three interceptions this past season – showing that he does have the ability to change the course of a game – like he did against rival Ribault – with three .picks.
