Today, we are going to combine the WR and TE positions into one group. Just like in the previous two articles in this series, we will go through our updated rankings for the class of 2021 and list the top 10 pass catchers still uncommitted. For each player, I will provide a quick scouting report of what the film shows us. Let’s get it started!
Clayton Schwalbe Clayton Schwalbe 6'4" | 230 lbs | TE Waukesha North | 2021 State WI , TE- Waukesha North
Clayton is a tight end prospect with strong traits in every aspect of the position. He has a perfect frame at 6’4″ 230 lbs and he carries it with ease. He can lineup in the traditional TE position and beat LBs in the pass game or drive DEs off the ball. Clayton can line up out wide and win too. He has the speed and route running savvy to effectively create separation at all levels of the field and he has the ability to make key blocks on athletic defensive backs too. Schwalbe has some crazy highlight reel catches too. He is a D1 prospect in my eyes and does have an offer from that level. I’m surprised there aren’t more.
Kameron Lee Kameron Lee 6'3" | 200 lbs | WR Indian Trail | 2021 State WI , WR- Indian Trail
Kameron is one of the top WR prospects that Wisconsin has to offer the collegiate level. You would be hard pressed to find a more versatile and athletic high school student athlete that is also 6’3″ and 200 lbs. Just this season alone, Lee made big time plays as a DB, TE, and WR. I believe he fits best as a receiver at the next level and should at least be a highly sought after D2 prospect. Kameron’s combination of strength and athleticism make him a threat on every snap. He can use his body to create separation or his route running ability and he plucks the ball out of the air with ease. He even makes an impact in the run game as a blocker on the edge and in space. I’m a big fan of Kameron’s game and I hope a lot of college programs are too.
Raymone Jones Raymone Jones 6'2" | 215 lbs | DB Indian Trail | 2021 State WI , WR- Indian Trail
Next up we have another member of the Indian Trail football team. I don’t know what is in the water down there, but they know how to make big, physical, and athletic receivers. Raymone checks in at 6’2″ 215 lbs and can move. Jones is a legitimate field stretcher. He can fly right by DBs and run under a lot of deep throws with ease. He’s a pretty sharp route runner too. He can leave DBs looking at nothing if they take their eyes off him for a second. I wouldn’t be shocked to see him play either side of the ball at the next level. He knows how to attack the ball and will destroy ball carriers and receivers when he gets the shot.
Marko Rajkovic Marko Rajkovic 6'5" | 220 lbs | TE Franklin | 2021 State WI , TE- Franklin
This is one of my favorite prospects from the 2021 class. After watching his junior film, I believed that he was a breakout candidate for this fall and Marko did not disappoint. I’d say he even blew past my expectations. That performance has led me to believe that he is a D1 prospect. He has started collecting the offers from that level after his season wrapped up too. Marko proved to be an exceptional athlete at 6’5″ 220 lbs. He plays like a big receiver in the pass game. You can see his basketball background in his play on the field. Marko is one of the best in the state at using his body to box out defenders to create separation. He does a great job of going up and getting the ball at it’s highest point too. You don’t have to take him off the field in running situations either. Rajkovic can create movement in the trenches. It will be fun to see where he ends up.
Elliott Harris Elliott Harris 6'2" | 180 lbs | WR Franklin | 2021 State WI , WR- Franklin
It doesn’t look like Harris played this season with the Franklin team. At least not from what I could find. That doesn’t take away from what he has to offer the next level though. While standing at 6’2’’ 180 lbs, Elliott can absolutely fly on the field. You can easily see his track experience shining through. As if having elite speed wasn’t enough, Harris makes it even harder to cover him by being a savvy route runner. His quickness out of his breaks and his ability to head fake DBs before his breaks creates even more separation for his QB. To top it off, Elliott has very strong hands and knows how to go up and attack the ball. He could be a big time steal for a program.
Eferin Burns Eferin Burns 5'10" | 175 lbs | WR Dominican | 2021 State WI , WR- Dominican
Eferin is really good at taking the top off the defense. The 5’11″ 175 lbs speedster eats up cushion and creates a lot of pressure on DBs just with his straightline speed. Eferin is also a reliable slot receiver. He has the quickness to create separation in tight areas and once he gets the ball in his hands he can make defenders miss That quickne shows up in releases too. When a DB tries to press him he can leave them grasping at air. Burns also uses that speed to be a game changer kick returner. He can flip the field in one touch or take it to the house. I’m looking forward to seeing where he makes his commitment to down the road.
Sylvere Campbell Sylvere Campbell 6'0" | 180 lbs | WR Martin Luther | 2021 State WI , WR- Martin Luther
The 6’ 180 lbs athlete spent 2020 making big plays on both sides of the ball. WR definitely looks like his home as he moves on to the next level though. He has the play speed and the speed carries into his route running. He doesn’t lose speed through his breaks, so he can get a lot of separation. My favorite traits of his film are his strong, yet soft hands and his ability to get yards after the catch. His film is full of him running through tackle attempts and making people miss. He is a dangerous player with the ball in his hands. Sylvere is going to be a steal. From what I can find, Campbell holds one offer currently. Somebody needs to check this kid out and come steal him.
Riley Krenke Riley Krenke 6'2" | 180 lbs | WR Little Wolf | 2021 State WI , WR- Little Wolf
The first box Krenke checks off is the size to play at the next level at 6’2″ 180 lbs. When you look at his athleticism you see that he has the quickness to even line up anywhere in the formation and win the rep. When it comes to play speed, it always surprises me how swift he is. His long strides lead to him having that deceptive speed. The kid’s catch radius is huge too thanks to his concentration at the catch point. The QB just needs to get it close and Riley will take care of the rest. His film is full of him taking the top off the defense thanks to that play speed and really good catching ability. As far as deep threat goes, Krenke doesn’t have a lot of competition for the best in his class at it. Riley has received D2 interest and that is where I feel he can really fit in and have a very good career. I can’t wait to see where he ends up.
Dylan Lisitza Dylan Lisitza 6'0" | 170 lbs | WR Wisconsin Rapids | 2021 State WI , WR- Wisconsin Rapids
Dylan checks in at 6’ 170 lbs and lines up mainly out wide in the Wisconsin Rapids offense. I’m a big fan of the way they used him too. It did a great job of showing off his talents. Lisitza was the target on a lot of shorter routes. That way they could get the ball in his hands quickly so he could focus on his really nice run after the catch ability. Dylan does a good job of making defenders miss in tight quarters with his agility and will use his strength to stiff arm or run through arm tackles. Dylan also does a nice job running those short routes. He doesn’t have a lot of time to create separation, yet he consistently gets it. I’m a fan of his film.
Dan Kujawa Dan Kujawa 6'3" | 210 lbs | TE Waukesha West | 2021 State WI , TE- Waukesha West
Dan will need time to fill out for the position as he is currently around 6’2″ 205 lbs. I do think he could still be used as more of a WR while he continues to add size. He does have the speed to hang at receiver if that’s what a team wants to do. In the receiving aspect, Kujawa is as good as any TE in his class. He stretches the field consistently and has very natural hands. He also does a really great job of using his superior length to box out defenders to create separation. It makes it so that even when he doesn’t look open he is still open thanks to that ability. I think Dan could find a spot in the D3- D2 range. He currently holds one offer, so a team has a chance of sliding in and getting a steal here.
