One group that stood out and that took the 18U championship was the Bullit Football Academy. They showed up and impressed many including myself facing some of the best football recruits from around the nation. The event was very well put together and we have highlighted a few other athletes from the state of Texas and other states who impressed at the tournament, so look for more articles to come on them this week. Gage Roy Gage Roy 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Dallas Jesuit | 2022 State TX ( 2022 ) | 6-2 QB | Dallas Jesuit HS
Gage let his team during the championship 7 on 7 tournament to an 8-0 record, championship, and earned the accolade of offensive MVP of the tournament. During the tournament Gage impressed many with his strong arm and accuracy, he also showed great decision-making ability, which he showed in 2020 for his high school team. If you watch his film you will find a great quarterback with terrific mechanics relevant to the position, a nice drop back, and smooth consistent footwork in the pocket. He has a strong arm and can throw the ball deep with velocity down the middle of the field and or on out routes towards the sideline. Princeton, Toledo, Dartmouth, the University of Pennsylvania, and Columbia University have all showing interest.

Jack Curtis Jack Curtis 6'4" | 215 lbs | DL Highland Park | 2022 State TX ( 2022 ) | 6-4 WDE / TE | Highland park HS
Jack impressed many and stood out with his size and athletic ability during the tournament at 6-4. Towering over other DBs and going up and catching the ball at the Apex where the other defenders couldn’t get to it. He impressed with his athleticism, speed, and agility, route-running ability in great hands. I could see him playing tight end at the next level. Big-time playmaking ability, he wants to catch every pass thrown his way. No wonder he was first-team all-district and holds multiple FBS offers.

Robert Fitzgerald ( 2022 ) | 6-0 DB | Dallas Jesuit HS
The defensive MVP of the tournament was flying around the field making plays and catching the eyes of many in attendance. He has an extremely good ability to read plays and make plays on the ball. Plays against the passing and running game well. Shows an impressive vertical and good top-end speed. Holds multiple offers to Ivy League schools including yell, University of Pennsylvania, Princeton, and others such as Colorado.

Luke Rossley ( 2022 ) | 5-11 WR | Highland Park HS
Luke had multiple receptions and touchdowns during the tournament. He impressed by showing off his dangerous route running ability, he is quick on his feet and can change directions quickly. His ability to find the end zone is second to none, he keeps on running and makes a good target for QBs. One of QB Gage Roy Gage Roy 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Dallas Jesuit | 2022 State TX ‘s favorite targets during the tournament.

Jeremiah Batiste ( 2023 ) | 5-11 RB/DB | Poteet HS
Jeremiah is an athlete who can play all over the field at wide receiver or defensive back or even as a return man on special teams. The reason why is because of his dangerous speed and agility, he also has quick feet that can break defenders ankles and leave them in the dust. Shows a quick burst off the line of scrimmage and can fly downfield in a flash. Shows the ability to make people miss in the open field and rack up a bunch of yards after the catch. He’s showcased his ability in the tournament in every single game.
Blake Youngblood ( 22) | 6-0 WR | Parish Episcopal
Blake has recognized as one of the standout wide receivers in Saturday’s tournament. Earning his place alongside a long list of notable, highly recruited prospects. He impressed by scoring both touchdowns in the championship game and 3 out of the 4 touchdowns in the semi-finals round. He did that by his dangerous route running ability, he has the capability to switch directions on a dime and makes for a good target for a QB because he consistently is working to get open. He shows an impressive vertical leap ability and can catch the ball at the apex. He also has terrific speed to pair along with his amazing hands, route-running ability, and ability to find the end zone.

James Adams ( 2023 ) | 5-11 DB | Sachse HS
This guy is a hidden gym. Coaches if you’re looking for a hard-hitting defensive back that brings the lumber, then look no further. James has a terrific size and speed for his age and his aggressiveness is one you would like to see as a defensive coach. One that can spark the team with his play and encourage others. His film is super impressive and fun to watch. He looks to lay out defenders on nearly every clip. Plays both the run and pass very well, showed his cover skills at the tournament.
Jayden Ellis ( 2023 ) | 5-9 DB | Rowlett HS
Another hard-hitting DB who flies all over the field to make tackles and big-time plays. He plays well against the run and pass. Versus the run, he flies down the field to make tackles for loss. In coverage, he can trail receivers and swipe the ball out of the hands of the receiver. Also, another stand out at the championship7 on 7 tournaments.
