2021 RANKINGS UPDATE RISERS/FALLERS

With the rankings changes come some risers and fallers. Below is a look at 5 players who made moves in this update.

#19 TE [player_tooltip player_id="59313" first="Banks" last="Pope"], AC Flora, 6’4, 235
First on this list is a riser. Pope moved up from #24 to #19 in this update after a strong senior year where he was able to gain a PWO offer from Clemson that caused him to change from an App State commitment to Clemson commit. He is a big guy who can block very well, catch the ball well, and make plays on special teams. It is very hard to move once you get in the top 25 prospects but he went from barely in the top 25 to a solid top 20 prospect.

#24 LB [player_tooltip player_id="59319" first="Cruz" last="Temple"], Abbeville, 5’11, 205
Our second player rose up the board from #29 to #24 after putting up a monster senior year where he was named 2A first-team All-State and picked to the Shrine Bowl roster. He is undersized but an active tackling machine who could be a multi-year All-AAC player for East Carolina.

#41 OL [player_tooltip player_id="59347" first="Jordan" last="Richards"], Fort Dorchester, 6’5, 300
Another riser on our list of changes is [player_tooltip player_id="59347" first="Jordan" last="Richards"] who moved from #59 to #41. He was listed at 6’3, 265 pounds over a year ago but is not closer to 6’5, 300 pounds. Richards is a three-year starter, two-time All-Region 8-AAAAA, two-time All-Lowcountry first-team pick, and was picked for the Shrine Bowl this year.

#72 OL/DL [player_tooltip player_id="59430" first="Will" last="Jeffcoat"], Pelion, 6’2, 265
Pelion standout [player_tooltip player_id="59430" first="Will" last="Jeffcoat"] flew up from #156 to #72 in this update. He was a first-team All-State pick in 2020 on offense but could play either side in college. He committed to Army back on November 4th and signed with him during the early signing period.

#167 QB [player_tooltip player_id="42758" first="Seth" last="Smith"], Spartanburg, 6’2, 205
Last on the list is a major faller as Smith fell 120 spots after a rocky start and then only playing in three games. Smith has tools but his health status is unknown. In those three games he only threw for 404 yards with one touchdown and four interceptions. Smith only completed 45.8% of his passes and had a QB rating of 46.2.
