The Coastal regions and Pee Dee are sending a number of players onto the college ranks.
Here are the confirmed signings we have by noon on Day 1 of the early signing period.
<strong>NYKE JOHNSON, DB, WEST FLORENCE</strong>
One of the best players in all of Region VI-4A stayed true to an early commitment and is now signed with Virginia Tech.

After transferring from North Carolina for his senior season, Taylor is now staying in-state after signing with Coastal Carolina.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="59336" first="Avery" last="Hewitt"], OL, DILLON</strong>
The 6-foot-3, 290-pound tackle is making the quick trip across the state line to play for Campbell.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="59324" first="JaQuan" last="Dixon"], RB, GREEN SEA FLOYDS</strong>
Dixon signed with Georgia State after an electric three-year career with the Trojans that included two state championships.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="59295" first="Ahmari" last="Huggins-Bruce"], WR, DILLON</strong>
After giving Louisville a verbal commitment over the summer, Huggins-Bruce signed with the Cardinals and made it official.

The Citadel landed one of the tallest defensive backs in the state when it signed the 6-foot-3 Ravenel early in the day.
<strong>AHMAD GREEN, QB, MAY RIVER</strong>
Green was a finalist for Mr. Football, and while he may swap spots at The Citadel, the Bulldogs are getting a great athlete.
