The Knights’ offense has been the best in the region and Cherokee County this season, averaging 34 points per game. With a deep cast of playmakers and the chemistry that comes with winning, River Ridge players continue to shine on both sides of the ball.
Brian Bradley, DL, Class of 2022
River Ridge
One of the best defensive players in Cherokee County, Bradley (6’3”, 210) finished with a game-high 13 tackles to go along with two tackles for loss, one sack and one forced fumble. A versatile, well-rounded defensive lineman, Bradley has drawn interest from Ivy League schools and should undoubtedly be ranked among recruiting services at this point.
Player of the game: @BrianBradley2nd
Two sacks and a handful of tackles for loss by my count (unofficial) Bradley was a defensive menace tonight in @RR_Knights 35-9 victory over Sequoyah.
Once again, Bradley looked like the best defensive player on the field. pic.twitter.com/3TFcDL0qkT

Andrew Bingham, ATH, Class of 2022
River Ridge
Bingham could be the most versatile offensive weapon in Cherokee County and continues to showcase his skillset week-to-week. Bingham (5’10”, 170) finished with a career-high 158 rushing yards with one touchdown on Friday. One of River Ridge’s best weapons, Bingham is used at the wide receiver, slot and running back position. Has game-high of seven receptions and 59 receiving yards from the receiver position earlier this season.
Amehre Morrison, RB, Class of 2022
River Ridge
Morrison entered the game as the second-leading rusher in the state of Georgia and continued to push for the top spot. He finished the game with 125 yards on 15 carries and his 75-yard touchdown run in the third quarter helped break the game open. The 125 yards were well below his season average of 194 but he also had a 99-yard kickoff return called back by a penalty. One of the most dynamic players in the state. Period.
You’ve really gotta pull the camera out quick with this kid.

Jackson Head, WR/TE, Class of 2023
River Ridge
After a hot start to the season, Head reemerged this past week as one of the best receiving options in Cherokee County. Head (6’3”, 210) finished with six receptions for 87 yards with a score and at times looked like a man amongst boys. Should be considered among the best sophomores in the state.
Jaden Mitchell, RB, Class of 2021
Sequoyah
Mitchell has been the bell cow for Sequoyah’s offense all season and continued his work on Friday night, finishing with 122 yards on 13 carries with a score. Mitchell (6’, 195) has 816 rushing yards on the season and is approaching back-to-back 1,000-yard campaigns. Holds offers and interest from multiple Division III schools.
