The stars came out to shine on Friday night in Woodstock.
The Region 5AAAAAAA game between Milton and Woodstock featured a number of high-level college prospects and there was plenty of game film for college coaches to dissect following this one. Milton (8-0, 4-0) defeated Woodstock (3-6, 1-3) 52-21 and looked like a top-10 team in the state in the process. Here’s a look at the standouts for both sides:
Jordan McDonald, RB, Class of 2022
Milton
McDonald was the offensive star of the night, finishing with 204 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 carries. He added one catch for 40 yards and clearly looked like a Power-5 back this evening. McDonald (6’1”, 215) has the size and speed to excel at the next level. Allowed his blockers to move in front of him and showed excellent footwork once making his decision on when to cut upfield. McDonald holds nearly 20 offers including LSU, Tennessee and Michigan State.

Lebbeus Overton, DE, Class of 2023
Milton
The No. 1-ranked player in America on multiple services did not disappoint. Overton (6’5”, 245) already looks the part and his play on the field backed up the hype. Overton finished with seven tackles, three tackles for loss and two sacks. He sat the fourth quarter and also was a factor as a lead blocker on multiple run packages. Holds offers from nearly every major college program in the country and with 24.5 tackles-for-loss and 12 sacks so far this season, watching him is worth the price of admission.

[player_tooltip player_id="33991" first="Devin" last="Farrell"], QB, Class of 2022
Milton
Milton didn’t need to pass much on Friday, but when they did Farrell was dynamic. An elite dual-threat at the position, Farrell (6’1”, 195) finished the game 12-for-19 passing for 218 yards with three touchdowns. He also ran the ball six times for 56 yards. On the season, he has 12 touchdowns to one interception is an underrated prospect in my eyes even with multiple offers including Texas A&M, Georgia Tech and Duke.

[player_tooltip player_id="33656" first="David" last="Daniel"], DB, Class of 2021
Woodstock
One of the key pieces in Georgia’s ‘21 Class, Daniel (6’2”, 185) helped Woodstock stay within striking distance in the first half. A four-star safety as a recruit, Daniel finished with five receptions for 85 yards and a score on offense. He rushed the ball three times for 24 yards and returned four kickoffs for an average of 25 yards with a long of 42. On defense, he finished with five solo tackles with one assisted tackle. A long and rangy defender, Daniel certainly projects well at the next level.
