I attended the camp to view players performing various agility drills and competing in one on one drills. I really appreciate Coach Blocker, Camp Director for inviting me to attend. Coach Blocker’s genuine concern is to educate parents and players on the college recruiting process to enable players in receiving offers to play college football. The camp atmosphere was incredibly positive, and the players competed. The players listed caught my attention.
Ethan Best, OT, 6’5” 280 – Scotland Co. HS. He displayed good arm movement and lateral movement while competing in the linemen drills. He is expected to anchor a veteran offensive line for a high-powered offense during the upcoming season. Ethan is a solid D1 prospect with a 4.0 plus GPA to match his athletic skills. Davidson has already made an offer and more offers are expected to come in.
Christian Joyner, RB, 6’1” 193 – Hunt HS. He displayed good speed and nifty footwork while participating in the drills. He will continue to fine tune his skills and is expecting a big production season. He is a D1 prospect with a 3.0 plus GPA to match his athletic skills. Offers should start to come in for him.
Will Hawkins, WR, 6’4” 205 – Heritage HS. He displayed the mental focus and concentration while competing in various drills. He is combination of power and speed in a big receiver package. Will runs precision passing routes and catches the ball in his hands. Big production numbers are expected for him during the upcoming season. He is a solid P5 prospect who has several P5 schools in contact with him. He has an offer from FIU and P5 offers should start to flow. Will has a 4.0 GPA to match his athletic skills.
Tre’ Dailey, DT, 6’0” 275 – Vance Co. HS. He has quick feet and runs well. He has a good first step out of his stance. Tre’ has a good upside and there are high expectations for him to become one of the leaders on the defensive unit for the upcoming season. He is a D2 prospect with a 3.5 plus GPA to match his athletic skills. Offers should start to come in for him.
Brodrick Gooch, SS/OLB, 6’0” 200 – Heritage HS. Displayed great quickness and speed while competing in the drills. Strong upper body strength and a physical defensive back who has the speed to cover big receivers in man coverage. He is expected to have a big production season. He is a solid D1 prospect with a 3.0 GPA to match his athletic skills. The offers should start to come in for him.
