One of the country’s best matchups of the year, this nationally televised game is loaded with college level talent on both teams. He is a well rounded DE with good technique and fundamentals that is an elite pass rusher. The lefty is a prototypical pocket passer with a quick release and great arm talent. Strong presence and mobility in the pocket with a good ability to feel and avoid pressure. Extremely quick to transition out of his backpedal and break on the ball. He possesses good speed with the acceleration to get to top end speed quickly. His ball skills and instincts have really set him apart. He’s an explosive and versatile athlete that can impact a game in a lot of different ways. He’s cerebral football player with a high football IQ that shows great instincts and anticipation to put himself in position to make plays.
