One of the country’s best matchups of the year, this nationally televised game is loaded with college level talent on both teams. Here’s a look at some of the top recruits from each team:

One of the top defensive ends in the nation and Prep Redzone’s #3 ranked overall recruit in Arizona. He is a well rounded DE with good technique and fundamentals that is an elite pass rusher. He’s committed to Michigan but holds 21 total offers from top programs including Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, and Ohio State.

He has great size and frame at 6’4” 270 lbs. with ideal length. Shows good athleticism, flexibility, and bend. Impressive strength and power at the POA to finish blocks. Does a good job being an effective blocker at the second level.

Three of the top four ranked players in Arizona are from Saguaro and Burke is number four. A dynamic athlete with fluid movement, quick feet, and elite ball skills. Currently holds 23 total major D1 offers and committed to Ohio State in May 2020.

One of the top OL in the state with six offers including Arizona, Colorado, Michigan State, and USC. He’s an all-around great lineman that shows big time upside and potential. He has great size, athleticism, and bend for a Power 5 OG. He has plus mobility with impressively quick feet and is a high motor guy that finishes every play. His recruiting stock will continue to rise as he progresses and develops.

One of three transfers to Hamilton out of Colorado, Marchiol is one of the top pro-style quarterbacks in the country with 25 offers from almost every elite college program. The lefty is a prototypical pocket passer with a quick release and great arm talent. Strong presence and mobility in the pocket with a good ability to feel and avoid pressure. He will be one of the top players in the state this year on the very strong Hamilton squad.

Martin has exploded onto the recruiting scene this past offseason with 19 offers from programs like Florida State, LSU, Michigan State, Nebraska, Oregon, and Texas. He has elite level speed and change of direction to get out of his break and make plays on the ball. Shows good instincts and route anticipation. Extremely quick to transition out of his backpedal and break on the ball. Already one of the top defensive backs in the country.

One of the more versatile athletes in Arizona. A natural football player that makes plays on both sides of the ball for Hamilton. He’s a very smooth athlete with fluid hips and quick change of direction. He possesses good speed with the acceleration to get to top end speed quickly. His ball skills and instincts have really set him apart. Currently committed to Nevada with offers from Washington State, Army, and Northern Arizona.
<strong>Jack Howell, DB, 6’0” 190 lbs., 2021</strong>
Committed to Colorado State and one of three transfers from Colorado. He’s an explosive and versatile athlete that can impact a game in a lot of different ways. He’s cerebral football player with a high football IQ that shows great instincts and anticipation to put himself in position to make plays. He plays well with his eyes diagnosing plays quickly with solid technique/footwork and little wasted movement. Also holds offers from New Mexico, New Mexico State, and Northern Arizona.
