Solomon Ussery, 6’6″ 305 Ibs., Turlock HS
The 2021 Turlock prospect is another intriguing and dominating Northern California offensive lineman due to his combination of size, strength, length and overall athletic ability. During the 2019 season in which he picked up First Team All League Honors as a Junior, he showed he is still a raw and developing player but flashes good upside and excellent movement ability in space while pulling/blocking at all levels of the defense. Ussery shows a quick first step/initial hand set and has a strong base/leg drive through out his blocks with the ability to finish with good toughness. In pass protection, he is a very patient blocker and can use counter-moves and his athleticism to run defenders out of the pocket. Currently holding no offers, he should see his recruiting take off as he enters into his Senior season for the central valley power Bulldogs
Isoa Tkeifanga, 6’3″ 300., Grant HS.
Tkeifanga is another athletic interior downhill blocker that shows the ability to sustain and finish blocks while showing good hand placement/punch at the point of attack. The Grant high school product relies on his combination of strength, power and athleticism to dominate defenders on the first two levels of the defense. As he continues through his high school career, he will continue to improve upon his lateral blocking ability but possesses the potential to play at a high level in college from the interior offensive line position.
Matt Cushman, 6’7″ 300 Ibs., Saint Mary’s HS-Stockton.
Playing for one of the top teams in Northern California alongside the likes of 4-star wide receiver Jadyn Marshall Jadyn Marshall 6'0" | 185 lbs | WR St. Mary's - Stockton | 2022 State CA and 3-star linebacker Tim Thomas, Cushman helps anchor one of the top offensive lines in Northern California. Currently holding a New Mexico State offer, the 2021 prospect has a rare combination of size, athleticism and wingspan. On tape, he displays a strong initial punch and good use of his arm length to keep defenders away from his body through out his blocks. He can also get to the second level in a hurry while sustaining and finishing blocks while showing the ability/athleticism to down and combo block. As his senior season kicks off in the coming months, he will draw more FBS level college interest.
Dean Abdullah, 6’4″ 250 Ibs., Antelope HS.
The 2021 two-way lineman currently holds an offer from Eastern Washington which should be given high praise due to Eastern Washington giving out some of the fewest offers in the entire Big Sky Conference. On tape, Abdullah is a punishing blocker that uses his combination of athleticism and physicality to dominate on both sides of the ball. He shows this both when down blocking and pulling in the box and working to the second level. The Antelope HS prospect also displays the ability to finish blocks and is very technically sound in pass protection and in the run game while showing a quick hand set and having a balanced pass set. Overall, he will find a home at-least at the FCS level and could end up playing on the defensive side of the ball as well.
