Today we look at the 7A District 10 area which is loaded with talent from the Sarasota area. This district is so loaded with prospects that I had to break it up into a two-part series. Big time players and some under the radar prospects are spotlighted below!
Terrell Pack- Sarasota
6’3 190lbs
Pack is a physical specimen, he’s a fantastic safety prospect, but this year he’s doubled as a receiver. He reminds me of a Terrell Owens type receiver that is physical, strong, and shows good speed. Because of his strength and athleticism he gets off the jams easy and gets into his routes fast. Catches well and could play receiver at the next level if the school wants him to. Currently holds several offers including Southern Miss, UT-Martin, and Tennessee State.

John Stanko- Sarasota
6’2 170lbs
Stanko has been injured this season, but he is a really good receiver prospect, he has a huge catch radius and very soft hands, he does a good job getting off the line with a variety of different moves, and his route-running is really, good constantly getting separation out of his breaks. He’s a definite college prospect.

TJ McKay- Sarasota c/o 22
McKay is a nice athlete that also plays corner; he could play multiple positions at the next level. Sarasota does a good job using him all over the field to take advantage of his playmaking ability. He has good speed and natural change of direction, he’s a quick-twitch type athlete that makes plays with the ball in his hands.

Jamal Thompson TE- Sarasota
6’3 231lbs
Thompson is heavily recruited as one of the elite defensive ends in the Tampa area, however, I wanted to add him here because he is playing tight end this year as well. Thompson does a good job getting off the line, showing soft hands, and outstanding speed in the open field for a player his size. Tight ends with his side and speed are at a premium and he also does an excellent job blocking. After seeing his film some schools may want to give him a shot at tight end at the next level. He currently holds offers from Southern Miss and Tennessee State University.

Emarj’e Grace- Lakewood Ranch
5’9 175lbs
Grace is a crafty route Runner that uses his quickness and speed to get open. He tracks the ball well in the air and shows good hands. He’s a slot receiver that has good agility and shiftiness in the open field. He’s also effective as a kick returner. Grace is a nice sleeper prospect that could do well in a wide-open spread offense at the next level.

Jaleel Duncan- Lakewood Ranch c/o 22
5’9 160lbs
Duncan is another quick-twitch slot receiver that despite its size shows the ability to go up in high point the ball. Has nice leaping ability, agility, and quick feet. He’s also pretty a good punt returner, and has a few highlights where he makes some great special teams plays on kick coverage.
