Fantasy Football Recap: Week One and Two

I want to apologize about the tardiness of keeping everyone updated on the weekly fantasy football matchup between myself, Mark Johnson, and Oliver West. We want to prioritize spreading the play and skill of Wisconsin’s talented high school athletes before working on the more fun based ideas. With that said though, I do have time today before I head off to my week three live game and I wanted to catch everyone up on how the Wisconsin High School Fantasy Football League is playing out! Ahead I will give a table of who started on each team for each week along with the scores and a quick analysis of each week’s matchup! Essentially every single player went off! I had multiple RBs score over 50 points, my receivers dominated their opponents and my QB was as prolific as I had hoped for. It is clear that Oliver has an elite team as well. Every week you won’t run into an opposing performance like Mark had, so the pieces like Straka and Nichols at RB and a dominant dual threat QB in Riley as well as his stacked bench should make week two a much more intense battle between the two teams. The dominance of one or two athletes, or one position group getting a slight advantage leading to a win that week. My (Mark) team got that advantage from the receivers and tight end output this week. I outscored Oliver in that area 62- 26.4. That 35.6 point gap was basically the difference in the week as Mark’s Team pulled off the 30.4 point victory. Oliver’s Team is set for a great run at a victory. Both weeks he has had an advantage at the QB position and it seems like no matter what RBs he goes with he gets huge chunks of points.
