Bartram Trail Produces Football Talent
Through the many years, his teams have won and developed – and if you ask any coach, in any sport, developing and teaching athletes is perhaps the most rewarding thing you can do.
While the Bears lost a tough playoff game last year, they have rebuilt and reloaded with some quality football players who have already made a difference.
This is indeed a program that has a tough schedule, but will stand toe-to-toe with anyone, and they will have a chance to prove it.
So far this season, Coach Sutherland, his staff and the Bears beat a tough Creekside team in a battle of St. John, 50-40, Jacksonville Mandarin, 26-13, St. Augustine, 35-21 and dropped a 35-10 decision to nationally-rated Plantation American Heritage.
