Pawhuska | 2021 StateOK
as one of our first nominees. He’s had a fantastic start to his senior year and the North Texas commit picked up where he left off in a blowout win over Commerce. Drummond threw for nearly 400 yards and seven touchdowns on 19-25 passing. Drummond is one of a handful of players that has been on this list multiple times already this year.
Gage Laney - Defensive Back - Owasso
A rare candidate that is a defense-only player. We’ve had players that play both sides but Owasso’s Gage Laney is the first candidate that is only on defense. It was a record night for Laney and the Rams as they knocked off Union. Laney finished the game with three interceptions, one of which he took back for an Owasso touchdown. With his three interceptions, Laney became the school’s all time leader in the interception category.

is a candidate for the award. In fact, this is the third time this season that Tarman has put up monster numbers. In their win over Lawton Eisenhower, Tarman had his best statistical game of his career. He threw for 183 yards and a touchdown but Tarman primarily does his damage on the ground and he was on point there. He ran for 313 yards and six touchdowns in the win.

Now sitting at 97 TD’s, Williams has the opportunity to join a pretty exclusive club as a quarterback with 100 career passing touchdowns.

One of the best overall performances came from Sapulpa senior Te’Zohn TaftTe’ZohnTaft

. The Sapulpa standout is one of the more underrated players in Oklahoma’s senior class. He was limited last year due to an injury but it doesn’t look that way in 2020. In a blowout win over Memorial, Taft kept finding the end zone time and time again. He finished with three touchdowns on the ground. He also caught a touchdown and returned an interception for a score.
